Aye I don't get that comparison at all.

Eriksen is a genius. Armstrong is dynamic and has a good strike on him.

He's closer to being like Bobo Balde than he is Eriksen :56:

Bang on pal that's exactly it I don't hold anything against players moving on for better or worse as long as I know they wernt half arsing it with us. The passion van dijk showed in the cl qualifiers for us when we all knew if we didn't get through he was moving on. He was sprinting up playing as a forward for the last few minutes trying to get that goal for us. That's something I will always respect!

Think I might be in the minority wanting him to stay. Purely because he's the only central midfield who really drives us forward, almost a central winger (if that makes sense), granted less creative than Rogic or Roberts and less technically gifted than McGregor or Ntcham but he has that something, that energy, that makes him different (when on form) to any other central mid we have.

However, he is not comparable to Eriksson.

No denying that there's a large section of Celtic fans who hold an irrational dislike of Armstrong ever since the contract issues but it's clouding their judgement. Armstrong was one of the most important players for our invincible run. His ability to shift the ball from defence to attack had him as one the integral players of that team. This season he has been hampered by injury as well as being a player that usually needs a run of games to get going. Ntcham has rightfully kept him out the team based on pure form but a peak Armstrong is just as good of a player. His restricted prescence is in my opinon, a massive reason for us not being as good this season.

Also the accusations of him not giving a * or only having his mind on the EPL are pish.

I'm not arsed either way if he does stay or not. Mainly because i don't think he is as irreplaceable as many seem to think.

Good player on his day but we've seen it for about 7 months or so all together in a Celtic shirt. Incredible season last year but he can't live off that forever.

His application on the park this season has been questionable for me. I don't think it is all to do with the injury either.
