Its a good job that it is fashionable not to bash Armstrong hi. Imagine wee Forrest had an equally quiet game. The hyenas would still be foaming at the mouth

Really poor against St Mirren imo, can't remember how many times he gave away possession but it was a lot and it's starting to happen near enough every game with him I've noticed. His position isn't wide left and he won't get in the side ahead of Bitton or Brown so if he can't adapt and play well wide left it's time for the bench.

You seem to be missing the point.

Forrest has been here for what 5 years now? People get on his back because most of the time he's duff. Whereas Armstrong has been here for a couple of months.

Most of the time he's been injured, there is a massive difference there.

    Fair enough.

But when he does play, most of the time he's duff.:50:

You think everybody is duff though so I'm counting that as a win.

He was bad last night but so were Forrest(apart from goal) , Stokes , Commons and Johansen until he was switched.

We were poor but won 2 zip another game out the way and another 3 points onward and upward we go.

I don't think he should be here. Maybe just noone esle actually wants him. He is Lower end of the Championship/League 1 standard.

'League 1' is absolute bollocks and you know it. Both at their best there's * all in it, the frustrating thing is it's been a long time since zforrest has managed to get that run of games together that has him at his best.

Probs lower end of the Championship/higher end of League 1. I'd say that's pretty realistic.

There's a reason why no one has bid in for him when he's seen a whole host of players wanted and leave for England. He's not very good. Someone could probably pick him up for 500k or less.

The reason is his injuries. Not so long ago he was linked with Spurs for £7m.

Saying that, I don't understand the obssession with judging our players with England or bids from other clubs. He's shown what he can do in a Celtic strip, we know he can be a very good player for ourselves, whether that's in the SPFL or in the Champions League. * England. I don't really give a flying * how he'd do down there.
