Taking the absolute * at this stage tbh. Just leaves the media open to speculate.

£10M for him with a year left would be a no brainer even though there is no chance of that happening. He's still to prove himself in Europe anyway imo, played decent against Man City away (Although that was there second team) but he was howling away to BMG

Armstrong put Hahn through on goal 1 v 1 with the keeper twice I recall by giving away possession under no pressure and luckily for us Hahn missed both. Armstrong bossing that game he most certainly didn't.

If the reports are true about the man city player signing does that open the door for the sale of Armstrong buy the city player for £4mill and sell Armstrong for £6mill sounds like the way Celtic do business.

Hope not, that's not improving the team. We already needed a midfielder. That's like buying a new CB then selling Jozo, or a winger then selling Sinclair.

Ffs well if you're gonna mention that then may as well mention the absolute howling performances he turned in under Ronny against Molde, Ajax, Malmo and such like? Does that ring any bells with you?

I'm talking about the rejuvinated Armstrong who basically looks like a new player under Brendan than the one we seen in his first year and a half here under Ronny.

And as much as he's been top drawer domestically in Europe there are still question marks for me, there's no doubting he was horrid against Man City at home and BMG away which is why I'm still on the fence with him in regards to Europe. He played really well though against Man City away and Internationally was brilliant against Slovenia and from what I heard played well against England bar the horrific slack pass at the end that led to Englands equaliser.

All I'm saying is I'm still unsure of him on the European stage and I'm sure I'm not the only one, if that's controversial for you then so be it.

It's still the same player he was played in the wrong position under Ronny, but I'm sure you already know that. :87:

He was played in the wrong position the night he played well against Inter Milan as well.

The facts are he was horrid under Ronny including domestically in about 75% of the games he played under him, whereas under Brendan he has been terrific in all senses of the word and been transformed cause I'm not gonna lie I thought there was no hope for him by the end of Ronny's tenure and wanted him binned but he's proved me wrong domestically, I do however still remain to be convinced by him in Europe that's all I'm saying.

No you said he hadn't done it in Europe when he clearly has, and given that Brendan knows more than you or I then I trust him over Armstrong.
