I think Lenny knows that we need a striker at the club and I have no doubt he is working hard on it aswell as trying to tie up a deal for Ledley. I thik Lenny knows what he's doing but maybe he is trying to see how the current strikers do in America so that he makes the right decision and know what the club need for the new season

We need more that a striker, we need a left back still am naw happy going into the new season with just mulgrew, although misun can play there were yet to see how he plays!!!

samaras and fortune wont get us goals, or wont get enough that is guarenteed, As we all seen last season, there both terrible finishers, and a decent striker should be priority, along with a bit of creativity in the middle of the park.


This team still looks very weak on paper and we badly need quality rather than quantity in the door, a also want to see some of this current squad shipped out the door to be honest, bit part players who are not needed, imo a would get rid of the likes of, odea and wilson, these 2 have shown there not good enough for celtic imo

A would also bin samaras, crosas, brown, mcmanus, some might disagree but av seen enough of samaras to know what am talking about, a lot of fans have a hard on for crosas but av seen next to * all from him since he3 came and he hardly gets me jumping off my seat, average at best imo.


Then you have brown who hasnt shown his 4 million so price we paid for him, a dont think he offers the team a lot and we ball know he doesnt score enough goals, for an attacking central midfielder????? At celtic he,s probly chipped in with the least ammount of goals for an attacking midfielder at our club for a long time, although he has got that nasty streak and swagger about him i like he will have to do a lot lot more than that to get me back on his side.

Then you have mccmanus who is for the off anyway, had a decent season or 2 but a would bite boro,s hand off for the est 2 mill or so we are rumoured to be getting for him.

 

Listen for me its simple, agree we really need a striker!!

But we will need to put our hand in our pocket to get one!! i.e pay the dosh and get robbie and stop wanting everything on the cheap. we have done great in the past for a steal and a deal here and there.

We should cough up and get it done and cut out the loan nonsense why would spurs want to do us a favour and loan him again?? not asking for a hole team just a really good striker to lift the rest.

I still think we'll get Bellamy or Keane back. That's why we're shipping out Decent players, re Holy Goalie, Aiden ( Probable) and Hinkel. Lenny's building his team, his way. THE THUNDER IS COMING

 

I think you could be right. However, even if we get Keane or Bellamy, we'll need another as well. Was really hoping for Hooper.

Proven goalscorer in this league with far inferior teams than us and he's only 21.
For £2m he's a bargain imo, would say he'd be the new Scott McDonald...great for a smaller team, then put better players round about him and watch him take off.
Stokes would be prolific for us.

Think we're kidding ourselves with the hope of Bellamy/Keane pulling on the hoops again next season.
