Bailly went off at the break in the development game today after taking a knock in the first half, possibility then of Fasan being in goals at the weekend.

I'd really like him to try something different he won't tho..

    Fasan
    Efe Lustig Simunovic
    Forrest Bitton Johansen Tierney
    Allan
    Cole Griffiths

Really feel that formation offers so many attacking options, width, aerial threat, speed and guile through the middle of the park as well as a long ball option. And Forrest has shown he can put in a defensive shift when required to, with his pace offering so much protection.

All the best managers can mix it up, pity we don't have one.

This has the makings of a banana skin as the pitch will be waterlogged and Stranraer have the reputation of giant killers in the Cup at Stair park, we don't want a Berwick here.

    Bailley

    Lustig Ambrose Simunovic Tierney

    McGregor Bitton Rogic

    Commons Griffiths Stokes

What the * did I just watch there?? :56:

This tie reminds me of the Scottish Cup game against Peterhead away a few years ago. If I remember correctly, Stokes got a hat-trick and kind of bailed us out because I think we played quite poorly.

With the way we're going at the minute, I can see the same kind of match developing here. Think it'll generally be a poor performance with Griffiths on form to ease us through.

Hope I'm wrong and we just come out and blitz them, but can't see anything in the team to suggest we can do that to anyone these days. :shamrock:

Used to work beside a burd who came from Stranraer and she was mad on them.

She used to rattle off all the teams they beat down there, and for a part time team they were top of their league with full time teams in it like Dunfermline and Morton, so they are no mugs, they will be right up for this.

Yeah I agree, especially since a large section of our support try to rip it out the zombies for hammering diddy teams (myself included)- we really would want to at least match that.

As I said though, can see this going the way of the Peterhead tie a few years ago when Stokes bailed us out with a hat-trick.
