You know mate that i like strachan ,but there is a point to your post ,i will regret this but i think after this season finishes and the football isnt any better than we are getting ,i would like to change manager aswell .

Some will say why if we are winning ,its the blend of football for me ,i want football on the ground ,sweeping moves ,celtic of old ,and i did say a couple of weeks ago ,there is a chance it could happen with the players strachan has at his disposal at present ,but it is getting the right blend ,and i dont see any change . that took a bit for me to right that cos i do like him but,,,,,,.

 

Strachan.-

Bad Points and crimes.

Not a celtic man
Not a Motivator
Lacking in tacticks- (positions & substitutions )
Insulting and embarassing to the fans & media.
Bought players then banned them-a detriment to the club surely.
Did no top players sign because they see Stachans actions. (as above )
Has present players thinking they are playing great football when more 60,000 fans are frustrated with it. Is this where the main problem lies. ?
Chose a captain, average player who can't motivate, the quietest under performing captain I ever saw in a celtic jersey.
Was he chosen by the board for his money making skills above being a good enough coach for our club. ?
Bought a lot of second rate footballers, not celtic calibar.
Do his own players not want to play for him-Brown-Donati etc Instead of improving as they play more games together are now under achieving. ?
Team has not improve over his 3 years.= failure.
I am sure I missed another million reasons.

I am sure this could have still been acheived by an even lesser idiot owing to circumstanses.
Has bought some realy tallented lads, but can he gell them to play football that lesser talented celtic teams have shown us in the past. ?

He says he is Fine where he is and that he is already at a great club. So looks like he is not going South.

 

KD mate I don’t dislike WGS either and I have a similar mindset to your own.

I don’t think it should be difficult for you or anyone to write what they truly believe mate. It just seems to me that we all have different cut off points. Yours will be at the end of this season mine came much earlier.

I also think with the players we currently have, that there is a potential that we could get close to seeing the brand of football you describe. Although I think that has been the case from each of WGS´s squads. I just feel for whatever reason he has not been able to improve the side year on year either in terms of quality or in terms of blending a coherent exciting unit. Something WGS himself has been so vocal about trying to achieve. It´s a matter of opinion if you think he has achieved this, I think most folk would have a simmilar opinion to ours.

 

Just get your Man Big Sam Allardyce in Ellboy, he will take us to the next level.

 

He would certainly sort the defence out mate.


I would prefer many other managers to him though, I mentioned him last season as he was a realistic target at that time.

 

Oh and by the way I am not saying we should replace the manager at this time. For me I would have done it in the summer, however to replace him just now would be silly.

 

Think this will be his last season, we should all just get behind him.

Just hope when he does go, the board dont go for the cheap option and appiont his best buddy.

 

Absolutely he deserves our full support, not saying we should hound him out far from it mate.

Yes your right we should rally and get behind the team ,cos i think rangers will be hoovering kind a close this season

 

Be a big Mistake mate, he is not the answer. But i do think he will replace wgs in the summer, if he does well for Motherwell this season. (Thats if he does go)

Proberly get more respect than Wgs tho, cause he is a Celtic man.

He also needs to make logical ones, why 2 ofensive players when we should be closing the game, is beyond me.


Just watching Liverpool-Man U game it´s 2-1 to Liverpool Benitez brings on Hypia to protect the lead, makes more sense to me.

 

Because he wanted to score another and with the chances we were making we could easily have. The game ended 4-2 so what he did worked!

his stubbornness over mcmanus might cost him his job. any coach in his right mind would at least strip the captaincy from him.. and most would drop him for sure.

 

Yes ultimately it worked, however we were lucky not to conceed more in the second half before the subs, our defense looked shakey. A blind man could see that, surely we should have brought on a more defensive minded player.
