I think it is debatable how many of the signings were actually his decision. Was he not just the head coach? I thought Lawell was the man responsible for the signings at the club.

I think it's a disgrace Celtics most successful manager since Jock Stein has been forced out of the club by supporters who are spoilt for success.

i agree, this could backfire. whose to stay the next manager will sell donati, or release blade for example. or even keep with mcmanus. i want a big name, i think its worth the gamble.. a craig levein or mark maghee are used to dealing with smaller clubs and will think celtics pitty transfer kitty is good cause of wot there used to..

bring in a big name who can attract big name players

Balde's contract is up and I don't see any manager renewing It, the guy isn't interested in paying for celtic anymore.
