do people not realise how important this season is. . .does strachan think its just about a game of football. . .If he does, maybe it is time for a Celtic man to be brought in, because he doesnt seem to be getting the message across !!!

Aye, I'm glad we bought Loovens instead ffs. He has been solid mate, take yer green-tinted glasses off.

Name me one good signing by WGS except for Nakamura, who wasn't playing in the SPL before he was signed?

What difference does it matter where they were signed from? :87:

Artur Boruc for starters but the transfer success/failure is something that's been covered a million times on here.

It matters because he can\'t sign a good player without it being right under his nose. I\'m talking about players like Mjallby, Reiper, Balde, Thompson, Varga, Petrov - He hasn\'t signed any players like that who have gone on to be a success. And we were linked with Boruc about 6 months before he signed, and I\'m sure Nakamura was 1st mentioned about March and he signed in the summer, effectively MON\'s signings.

i must say that after last week i thought that the team would get the deserved boot up the bahooky and improve. i guess we did improve a little to day but it is still not enough, and now (aprt from the game at ibrox) we have been rank since the 2-0 against hibs at easter road. i have tried to remain positive but i am afraid that my older more cynical eyes can no longer deceive myself with belief in my beloved celtic.

    we really are poor

my biggest objection is the fact that we will be the top wage payer in the SPL give or take o few of the top earners at ibrox. we pay these guys a fortune and regardless of any tinted spectacles the wages to talent ratio should matter other wise we are paying over the odds for a huge pile of poo

we papmper these guys because they are celts and i firmly believe that a lot of them dont give as much of a * as we do. that is what i object to

if we give those bigoted * from the very depths of satans bowels the league this year then our board management and players should be put in stocks on kerrydale street to have rotten tomatoes thrown at them in shame. what will happen is they will * off to the carribean while we lose our jobs and suffer and listen to those * gloat. rangers are on the brink of collapse and what do we do? we give them a huge shining light at the end of the tunnel. we give them hope and a shot at survival when they should have been driven into the gutter where they belong

can you imagine the * we would have to suffer as they celebrate? they know they are pish and they know we are letting them off the hook.

going back to my point about us caring more than the players. i am fed up listening to caldwell talking about what he is gonna do, admittedly he is the best of the bad bunch. mcmanus on how he would hit one of his own supporters if he got grief in asda - that is the club captain of celtic! and some of the rest of them are just average. now in the eearly nineties we were rank and finishing fifth and third in the table but we were buying * and paying * as we faced financial ruin and guess what? when the huns smelled blood they * hammered us and, albeit with the hun bank of scotlands corrupt bigoted money and overdraft, they bought when we couldnt and they * well found somebody to improve their team

time will tell and i pray my new doubts are proved wrong, but on the veidence of the last three months then we will gift the huns the title and the thought of which makes me vomit

the importance now of the league cup has increased as we must give them no more encouragement

with regards to mr strachan, i like him and he has done well, but someone must be responsible for what is being put out on the pitch wearing our beloved hoops and representing us, the celtic support, and for the last three months it has been totally unacceptable

Blackfish you certainly know how to hit it home mate, reading your words made my heart sink the my gut. Really distressing times the now, as far as i can see there is not much difference between the last couple of months and the dark days of the pre-Tommy Burns 90's.

We're only a million in debt though so stop over reacting :)31:)

    !!

Honestly mate this isnae just about today's result. Yes there will be a small amount of knee-* reactionists who are * off about today's result and are sounding off but for most people this runs a lot deeper. There are a great many Celtic fans out there who are not happy with what WGS is doing and haven't been happy for quite a long time now. There are a lot of fans who are happy with what WGS is doing but there are a lot that are not. I have moaned about this guy for 2 years now and I've been made to feel like a numbskull or a judas for putting the boot into WGS but I really don't care. I just do not rate the man and anyone who reads my past posts will know that. The pro Strachan brigade are entitled to their view and I respect what they say but I don't rate the wee *. Even if we win the League again this year I just want him gone. I think he has taken our team as far as he can and he doesn't have the vision or knowledge to take us any further. The sooner he leaves the better as far as I'm concerned. I know my opinion is not universal but thats how I feel. Go away Gordon! :38:

Caldwell midfield and Lovens at the back with the amount of midfielders we have and Caldwell actually playing well at the back last couple of games can any one explain this to me? sammy and JVOH should not be near the pitch at the minute they are woeful right now instead he plays a 4-3-3(is that the first time this season?) with them playing. It appears that WGS does not know what he is doing and this stage of the season which frightens me as a hoop fan! his time must be drawing to close now!

    I am not a a Strachan hater, I am a Celtic fan....
Celtic, my club, are not performing as they should. Even the most ardent WGS supporter has to admit that the team are not playing well...surely it is clear for all to see. The last few weeks we have been nothing short of DREADFUL.
I have been watching Celtic for 37 years, seen some bad Celtic sides in that time, but the present team, while it has decent players in it, is under performing, hugely under performing!!
Yes, WGS has won us 3 titles. Yes, he has taken us to the last 16 in Europe twice. But we annot live in the past, no matter how recent it was.
We all gave WGS credit for winning 3 ttles...but he needs to carry the can when we play badly...he picks the team, his tactics, his instructions.....the buck stops with him....not the players.
I dont want hi out, not right now. He deserves to be given till the end of season, he has earned that. But, failure to win the SPL this year and yes, he should go!
I want my Celtic sides to play with flair, passion, pace.....not long balls, not endless midfield passes that lead to nothing.....We need to improve, no question about it!!
