    we now have a veryyyyy young team with exceptions at the back. Juarez 22 kayal 22 brown 23 izzaguirre 24 ki 21 forrest 19 hooper 22 stokes 22 and even sammy is 24. the elder statesmen of our attack are maloney 27 and mccourt 27.

    this is a better deal than getting another loan move for keane, or bellamy.

    this guy is easily a 40 goal per season player.

    and i would rather see a 4-5-1 with a midfield full of flair. the amount of chances......... would be hard for stokes to not get 40 a season.

    he had 16 goals in 18 appearances for FALKIRK a few seasons ago. i remember he had about 4 hat tricks and hit the post about 10 times. ridiculous.

    and hes only about 22. and we got him on a 4 year contract.

    for 1.2 MIL

    easily the best transfer lennon will ever make.

    sammy is almost 26.

    but your point still stands. great team with lots of good young players. hopefully celtic will retain most of them and forge a really good team in the next few years.
