Sorry, I might be at loggerheads with the rest, but I'll be quite happy to see the back of him. His performances have been pretty ordinary for the last year or so, with a few exceptions. To me he's the weak link in open play when we face any team with some degree of class. For a year or so when he first got here he was magic, but I genuinely won't have any problem saying bye to the wee man. His strikes against Man United, as well as his one real moment of glory last year with that wonder shot against rangers are iconic. But for the most part the last year or so has been pretty unremarkable, and without sounding like I'm just deliberately tryin to * you off, I think we should try and make a bit of money out of him in January if possible.

I love the wee guy....top man

Talented player without question. He wants to go home, so let him go with our best wishes and a huge thank you to what he has brought us over the last few years.

I'd fall on my knees and beg, if I were Strachan. And pay his kid education in Scotland. The board is * stingy, and they won't give the money for a new playmaker. At least not for someone fit to wear the no. 25.

I suspect you'd fall to your knees and do something else for Naka.

Same like hoopymo last year. Even he regrets those attacks now, and we're friends now...

    I wouldn't.

I don't trust Strachan to sign anybody better or as good as him with 10 million, so I'd rather stick to what I know and I know Nakamura can help us win 4IAR.

If he were to leave in January, I believe we'd struggle big time. He must be worth about 15 points to us this season so far.

I'd take it too. Before I was thinking 1.5-3m would be good (keep in mind a couple months from now he's free)
Anyway, the 10m was clearly a typo by some half-witted journalists or pure makebelieve numbers. "Hey Nissan is ridiculously rich... let's make up a nice big round number that's not too overboard like 20m... but still wayyy too much."

 I'm sure if we had 10m to spend on one or two players we'd do well with it.

If he were to leave with no replacement, obviously that would be the case. But with 10m... I'm sure that'd be spent on something. *, you could turn around and buy Kagawa (19yr old Naka clone with speed and finishing and loads of media attention) for 1-2m.

hehe, good luck convincing Martin, among others, he's been worth 15pts. I'm sure he'll have some excuse... like it was really Brown or Caldwell that scored all those goals and provided all those assists while the rest of the team was getting injured like soldiers running off an amphibious vehicle on D-Day. :56:
