Can't say I'd be disappointed if he's failed the medical, we can't afford to be bringing guys in to sit in the physio's room.

 

Taking far too long this deal, should have been wrapped up by now, not sure if this medical story is true, if he has failed I doubt he will be signed up.

Someone is obviously doing something if the lad has come in for a medical mate. I dont believe much I read regarding transfers but this is one deal I hope goes ahead, I think he adds a bit of fight to the squad, also adds vital experience

 

He may or may not have come in for a medical. Scouts and lennon who is still at the club may line up quite a few options and why not look at a guy who is free and could do a good job for the club. It doesnt mean when the new man comes in he will want him signed.

 

Fair enough mate but I think its likely that Lennon is the one involved with these deals, which sounds to me like he is going to be given the job. Dont think the board would let him look at players while they are going to bring in a new manager, could be wrong mind.

 

Yeah know what you're saying mate but lennon was permitted to suggest players prior to the end of the season and i assume Reid was one of them.

he was a good player but his best days are well over now as a result of his injuries, as for this reason i hope he does not sign for us as we jus cant afford to have someone with a big wage be sitting in the stands injured

Think that was apparantly dodgy knees and not once did he have a knee problem. Think it was his back that went when he came to Celtic
