Boo hoo, hand in your resignation and be done with it. If it is affecting you that much do the honourable thing and walk away with your tail stashed between your legs.

The truth is now in the public domain there is no hiding place for lying, cheating scum bags.

Not going to pull the wool over any Celtic fans eyes, a dirty hun who has shown clear bias towards the filth. A truly pathetic attempt to keep his job.

Drivel from a guilty man hoping to find a shred of sympathy. Well not on this board you * up *.

Resign whilst you still have time, and take your boss man with you.

You have brought shame upon yourself which you thought we'd never see. Shame goes with the colours of the team you tried to protect all this time you * rodent.

We will not be defeated, and the wolves are surrounding you.

Keep digging your own grave, Dougie. There is no justification that you can come up with that will be satisfactory. You have lied and continue to demonstrate a lack of integrity. Of course you wouldn't do the honourable thing, for how could we possibly expect an honourable action from a man without honour?

Tell your story walking & get your buddy, Dallas, to start packing his things also.

his life has been affected over the "over-reaction". yet, he's truly sorry for what he did. does this mean he's taking part in the "over-reaction" for aplogizing for said transgressions? anything to deflect blame onto celtic and its supporters. hard to stop spinning the story after you've been caught spinning it so many ways, isn't it Dougie? *

annoyed and ashamed so phoned dallas straight away-
lie -not ashamed enough to resign and was willing to continue the lie with dallas's backing
out of character- lie -been doing it for years you cheating rat

in that interview he says he told dallas that he had lied to lennon and the observer as soon as he could after the game yet this was the interview they gave on the tuesday

BBC Sport - Football - Referees chief Hugh Dallas backs Dougie

Dallas says McDonald admitted some fault in his handling of the situation but thought that some of the criticism had resulted from such changes of decision being so rare.

    <!-- END - caption -->
<!-- end of the embedded player component --><!-- END of Inline Embedded Media -->"It was untidy and we accept that - and so does Dougie McDonald - and Dougie sets his standards very high, but in my opinion he was right not to award the penalty," said the Scottish Football Association's head of referee development.
"Referees have to make a decision in a split second and I think, in this instance, he has managed to collect his thoughts and other information within 10 or 15 seconds.
"And I thought the Celtic players accepted it very well. That is credit to them also and we got on with the game."
Dallas claimed that even the Celtic manager, whose side went on to win 2-1 through a late Hooper goal, now accepted that the penalty award would have been a wrong decision.
"Neil Lennon took the time to go to the referee's dressing-room about 40 minutes after the match was concluded," he said.
"They had a discussion and Neil accepted that the decision was correct. It was just unusual. I think Neil was extremely frustrated that he did not have the opportunity to get an explanation at that time, which is not possible.
"He received a full explanation, which he found acceptable after the match."

Yup, just like I was saying yesterday and getting pelters from you lot for it...

Celtic sit on their fat behinds in silence as the laptop loyal have a field day spinning this one.

    Absolutely pathetic.

Oh wait, sure the club's waiting on the 'official' version of events tomorrow. Oh, I see! So, suddenly, the 'official' version is relevant.

Celtic are being made a laughing stock.
