This is getting pretty funny, he said this, no I never, yes you did, the more they try and cover it up the worse they're making it for themselves, they should just stop digging.

Let me assure you, Celtic's statement will be the usual, spineless, conciliatory bollox.

Already, the laptop loyal have gone into overdrive spinning this one.

What are Celtic doing? Sweet * Adams, it seems.

    What, because it's Sunday?

This is a 24/7/365 news media world we live in. Celtic will probably deliver their statement by letter to the feckin Record.

    * waiting on their 'official' statement on Tuesday. By that time the whole angle and agenda around this story will have been reshaped by the usual pro-Hun journos. At the very least, the Celts should be surreptitiously pumping the few friendly journos we have with info to keep our position in the foreground.

But, no. They;ll blow it again, as usual. Just like they blew the chance to crush rangers during their debt crisis.

    Feckin useless shower.

Give it time man, the story was only released this morning.

We'll hear something either tomorrow or Tuesday.

Aye, and look at how the story is developing by the minute.

Now the ref's union is jumping in.

Celtic are fumbling the ball, again.

very happy this finally made the news and looks like the truth is coming out.

the problem is, it's only the tip of the iceberg. when there's a corruption scandal like this, there ain't only one or two people involved. a ref and the head of the refs can't do whatever they please if their bosses make their jobs properly, which they didn't.

wouldn't be surprised if the sfa president and all other so called high horses were involved too and were backing them up.

I hope Dallas and McDonald ain't only two * sacrifices to cover up the whole corruption factory aka SFA. proper investigations should be made from police and uefa and whoever is eligible to.

the SFA stinks so much I can smell their dirty * all the way to Switzerland.

I'm sure if the club want someone to fly off the handle and make rash statements while the story is still developing, possibly getting us into trouble and making us look stupid later, I'm sure they'll call you with a job offer irishhooper.

Til then, lets wait and see how things go and they'll make the appropriate response like adults when we have all the facts.

A big issue for me in all this is that Celtic fans were accused of forcing Craven to resign by threatening him and his family. Well it seems that this was not the case and he resigned on principle of being turned into a liar. Celtic should demand the papers print a retraction and apologise to the Celtic support for this blantant fabrication.

    Good point man!"

They were ever so quick to condemn a minority of our support for abusing him and his family, which Craven himself has since dismissed!
