    I thought he was better than Jenz but we still looked a panicked mess with him at the back. His awareness of the players moving around him really isn’t good.

    He was honest fairly solid, not perfect, but much better than previous games.

    He'll most likely start the next two games, hopefully he keeps it up.

    Of the pair the last few games, he gives most hope of finding a player in there. But needs coached during the game and would benefit with CCV more than Starfelt or jenz next to him.

    Was great but unfortunately neither him or Jenz command the defence, CCV is the only centre back we have that takes command and can lead. That’s why all 3 look great next to him but then struggle as soon as he isn’t playing.

    I'd like to think that McManus would know how to improve Welsh. Definitely worth keeping in the squad, but I believe he needs CCV. We all do.

    Biggest criticism of him would be the amount he goes backwards to hart or sideways even when a forward pass is on. I get he’s not in the team to play raking passes into midfielders or forwards but he needs to take a bit of responsibility at times.

    I thought he played really well all things considered. Massive respect to him.

    Weirdly, he seems to play better in games like this than he does against jobbers in the SPFL. I remember him having an amazing game in a European qualifier at CP about a year ago.
