    He's literally savings us millions.

Build the defence around him. He's only going to get better and hasn't really put a foot wrong. He's inexperienced but every game he is learning from.

We complain about youth not having a chance, this bhoy has taken his chance. He just needs a rock of a partner beside him.

He stood out for me tonight, played like he was the experienced player at centre back..

Really good, also taking the ball out the air under pressure and playing it about.

Still early days but he is a well rounded player and you wouldn't be shocked if he ended up here a long time and a first choice player.

The amount of times it was him that met a clearance was incredible. Reminded me of Pepe against Real Madrid.

Thought he was absolutely immense tonight. Starting to look like a leader back there too.

    Well done young man :50:

Best defender at the club, solid as a rock and so composed.

Hes getting better in the air too, despite not being the biggest CB.

Solid. Brave and composed. His positioning to cut out balls into the box is great too, so many defenders even at the top level just look like they're hoping for the best.

Have to say, he's making me revise my thoughts of him being a good back up but not a starter.

He's been fantastic of late. Composed, tough and reads the game well.

It's on the ball he's impressed me, I think he was even good in the air last season but he didn't really take a chance on the ball always done a simple pass to the side.

Now he's chesting balls out the air with 3 men on him, beaating me and passing it out and flicking balls dropping 30 yards out the sky to Taylor with thee outside of the foot under pressure also. Even carrying the ball over the half way line.

Last season I thought is he good enough on the ball and confident enough to bring it out and doubted him but technically he's quite good. Haven't really seen long range passing from him but dribbling out of defence and passing it around on the ground he's good.

Last season he had Ajer next to him who had that role, he was the covering one. This year he’s more the lead.

Beginning to put me in mind of Roy Aitken in his style. He’s developing that sort of assurance the Bear had.

Massive strides he's taking. Gets better every game. His size and build and heart, like a Scottish Cannavaro.

On the evidence so far he's proved himself to be a starter, really impressed by his composure and positioning, good concentration levels as well.

He still needs help back there though! Another CB is crucial for me now.
