Miles ahead of Bitton.

I actually enjoyed seeing Ange bring Bitton on for Cal Mac, seemed to me as a hint that he doesn't fancy him as a CB.

 

He's flying at moment, looks so assured and mature in a functioning team rather that the bomb site he was thrown into last season. Ange will improve him dramatically

Thought he was outstanding tonight. Cool, calm, rock solid.

 

Guy is steady as a rock, growing in maturity every game. Just need to stick with him and CS.

 

Thought him and Ralston looked very comfortable last night. Great to see such solid relationships forming across the team.

 

He is definitely stepping up.

We'd find it difficult to go into the transfer market and find a player to replace him.

 

With Scotland's other centre backs being Hanley, Mckenna and Hendry surely Welsh gets a call up this season?

In my eyes, he is levels above all of that dross. He should walk into our starting xi easily.

Thank fxck we have this young guy because we don't have much else at CB.

So aggressive, sometimes overly so but never bad to leave one on a hearts player, there's not enough of those characters in our squad.

 

Aside from that tackle on Mackay Steven I thought he was excellent again. For now I'd say he's our first choice CB

 

Played like a seasoned professional today.

Apart from that rash challenge on Mackay-Steven, showed an excellent level of maturity.

Physical, crisp passing, reading the game well and adding in an attacking threat at corners.

You'd think he was the 4 million pound seasoned centre half..

 

One screw up with that rush of blood, absolutely no need to make it. Apart from that, he was outstanding. Took his goal well and also had another decent chance.
