Absolutely nowhere near good enough and only here bcoz of that stupid uefa rule

 

Nawrocki must have done something really bad to someone at Celtic to not get in the team today.
It's certainly not because Welsh / Trusty are better players.

 

I don't like to slaughter our players, especially local fellas, but Welsh is * mince.

He emerged during the covid season when we were playing like we were on LSD, and he was one of the only positives that season in contrast to * like Duffy.

The reality is, he wouldn't get in St Mirren's defence. I'd much rather have say Gogic floating about the squad than Welsh. If this is the best that our youth is bringing through in the past few years in the CB area then the game's a bogey.

 

No harm to him but he should never play again. No where near the standard required even as back up and he’s only here to fill a quota.

 

He's definitely had good games for us. Feyenoord he was excellent. At one point he was good at passing out of defence, just looks like he has completely lost any confidence.

Still looks to be ahead of Nawrocki but needs a change. If there is still interest from Italy he should definitely be considering it.

 

How bad must Nawrocki be if this guy is ahead of him?

 

He's never been great but he used to be able to pass the ball like you say. Today he under-hit almost every pass and his teammates were copping it with Falkirk players taking the chance to go right through them..

He isn't good enough whatsoever for us but injuries have clearly * any progress or potential he might have had..

 

His passing today was poor. Constantly putting others under pressure with it. He definitely got the ball out from the back quite effectively Anges first season early days, but looks to have completely lost that ability.

I'm really saying he probably needs to move on for his own good, rather than trying to defend him.

 

Got the fear when I saw him starting and it was justified, was abysmal.

 

True, it's tradition to have atleast one slightly * Scottish player in the squad. Someone had to replace Jack Hendry.

 

Nawrocki is just back from injury..

We need to see more of him when CCV needs rested.
