    What a riddy. The search for a striker will continue. On the bright side, at least we have raked in £11.2m in transfer fees. £9.2m if Newcastle did get 20% of Forster's fee. Every penny will be reinvested though, so Peter was saying just the other day. January should be a fun window.

    As soon as we went out against Maribor I KNEW this * wasn't coming. Just a feeling I had in my gut. Tbh I wasn't that keen on him but his record was impressive, and the strikers we have now are so bad its not even funny. Stokes, Griffiths, Balde, Pukki. What a deadly set of strikers.

    Time to move on to different targets. Surely we haven't put ourselves in a position where it's deadline day, we haven't spent a penny and we only have one target signing who has now pulled out? If so, people need sacked from their jobs.
