Been our best player lately. He took his goal superbly, many players would have * that up. His work rate is unbelievable. Focus on Johansen in one game and you will see how much he runs his * off. Adding to that he's the only guy in our team with a bit of magic/creativity. He isn't Lubo or Naka but he is becoming a really important player for us.

    Absolutely fantastic tonight.

Looked good when he was cutting in from the right in the first half too (as he seemed to do on numerous occassions), jus' sayin'. :fear:

That little move forward to No.10 has made all the difference for Johansen.
The sad news for Kris Commons is that it probably means the end of his Celtic career.

Standout for me followed not far behind by Virgil..

Never want to see him dropped back or as part of a two, ever again..

Only real critiscm is he fluffs a lot of one on ones..

He is the identikit Deila player, if we have a team of Johansen's or even half a team we will be half way towards where we want to be.

He is the type of player opponents hate, clicking at your heels for 90 minutes+

    He is quality.

Deila is quite rightly looking to build the side around him.

Like the way Ronny shifted him to right mid in the 2nd half, seemed to go 442 for awhile. With his energy and relatively decent pace it wouldn't be a bad shout to see him on the wing more often, especially with Jamesy's propensity for injury.

His (Johansen's) final ball's still lacking a lot of the time though but i;d like to see him play wide.

Johansen actually started his career as a winger but never lived up to promise. Deila transformed him by buying him and putting him in the middle, so I think he's there to stay.

Can't for the life of me believe that people thought this guy was a dud for quite a long time. He ALWAYS looked a class above even when playing the box to box role.

Now that he's in the number 10/attacking midfield position he's just got better and better.

Could do with more players with his pace and energy, especially for Europe.

Can only imagine what sort of showing up he'd give other players at a bleep test, especially Guidetti and Mulgrew.

Agree with you on this one. Absolute quality player, he really stands out as an all round creative force. Works very hard too which is quite unusual for someone who's job it is to create and dictate things from midfield.
