    Thought he was superb today, really thrives being the more advanced off a three. Always getting on the ball and he makes really good runs into the box.

    Only need to go back to posts from the end of September when he was being slated by many fans.

    We can be very fickle at times, a few bad games when everyone around him was also pish and suddenly he was classed as 'mince'.

    Delighted for him that the form we saw last season is returning again. Confidence and momentum is a wonderful thing in football. Said it before, if he is played further up the park with more freedom and less defensive duties to carry out, he is one of our top players.

    One of our top performers again today. He has gone through dips in form but I would argue those dips have been caused by him being played in a role that didn't really allow him to use his strengths. Now that he's playing in a more attacking role we can see how good his passing is and how well he times his runs into the box. He's also a useful finisher when he does get himself into goalscoring positions.

    I don't actually think he has played very well recently, better than most but below what I'd expect from him. Although like the rest they have won games.

    Plenty of energy and hard work, but we need more than that in our engine room. Great determination for his goal today though.

    Got to be said , now he has moved into the attacking midfield position he is really starting to run matches . Has the brain and work rate to be our main man in there. Still dont think he hit top form , but soon will . Never to play as a holding midfielder again .

    Once Commons comes back i think he will really start to shine in this three

    Definitely needs to be played in a more advanced role. We can miss out on a lot of his qualities when he's just sitting deep.

    Still convinced he was involved in match fixing when he cleared Van Dijk's header off the line in Slovenia. :fear:

    The criticism aimed at him was absolutely ridiculous.

    I still think there's more to come from him as well, he has excellent vision which we've not seen a lot of in recent games. He must be an absolute nightmare to play against though, he seems to pop up everywhere.

    How was it ridiculous? he was pish all season until recently and since he has been played in this current role he is playing he has turned the corner and well done I say.

    Why do so many folk take negative comments about a players form so personally, it's only worth getting worked up about when the poster posts nothing but * about every player and performance, sadly we have enough of that type of poster too
