    Ran the show. Passing was excellent, constantly involved on the ball, created chances and was unlucky not to score. Corners were good, too. Hopefully the real Johansen is back.

    Fair play to him. Was excellent today and really stepped his game up.

    Some people on here need to get a grip though :smiley-laughing002: coming on with their 'Told you so' comments. He has been absolutely dire all season so because you've been blinded by this you come on and give it the big one after ONE good game ? * off.

    Injuries have forced him to play deeper which he clearly isn't comfortable with. So when we give him a bit of a creative licence and he steals the show, go figure! Easily one our most key players and doesn't get nearly enough credit for his effort as well.

    He has not been absolutely dire all season, which is the crux of the argument.

    The criticism of him has been unfair and he proved today that those suggesting he is * are talking exactly that.

    And what would that prove? I like to think I can tell when someone's had a good or a bad game. Johansen was exceptional today, but he's been mostly pish this season.
    The fans who have been on his back want him to do well. But if he plays * I'm gonna call him out and not be swayed by one or two decent passes, or how well he played last season. Hopefully he'll kick on from this..

    It would prove that a lot of people don't really know what they are talking about, he has not been any worse than any other of the players when we have been struggling. To read this thread you would believe otherwise.

    Over the moon with his performance. Always knew he had the ability, he was just going through a bad spell.

    The midfield 3 suits him, rather than 2. Mulgrew and Brown playing behind him was perfect.
