Always seems to play well for Norway.

He really is a good player. Wish we could see him as part of the attacking front 3, playing through the middle.

I'd like to see him behind a striker just to see what he's like. At least you wouldn't be moaning at him for failing to track back.

Other than Commons, who provides a different threat, I'd say Johansen was our most creative threat middle to front if used properly. At least if he was attempting passes in the final third there's plenty of cover if it doesn't work.

Johansen actually seems to have a much better passing range than Commons for me. It's a myth that Stefan can't pick a pass out.

He does it playing in a much deeper role just now, he'd thrive being even further forward.

Commons is often the guilty party when it comes to giving the ball away with stray passes, I wouldn't be measuring Johansen against him. Mulgrew is probably the best passer of a ball we have.

Interesting thought. Could be an excellent move. I still think we would need a wanyama type player playing in midfield with brown.

Been woefully * this year. Can't believe how far his passing has fallen, when he first arrived he was slicing defences open with lovely through balls, this year he's been giving it away constantly.

Needs dropping for a few weeks to reflect, recharge and hopefully come back a better player.

One good game for Norway and suddenly he's a player.

Until he starts showing it for Celtic I'm not even close to being convinced.

It's not one game though is it? He's always in their starting eleven and seemingly plays well most of the time for them.

He also played very well for us last season. He has it, he's just having a rough time at Celtic just now. As are most of the team.

More than half their squad are based in Norway and they aren't exactly blessed with a top midfield. Charlie Mulgrew is a regular in a better side and gets 10x more criticism on here than Johansen does.

As for playing well for them, I don't exactly watch Norway all the time but he was average at best against England and a boy on here said the same about him when they played Italy.

And anyway, there's plenty of players who thrive at international level and can't play well for their club. I don't care how he plays for Norway. He isn't showing it for Celtic.

Another assumption to support an argument  i have seen him play for them 3 or 4 times , against italy he gave the ball away a * of a lot, and was average at best.

It's utterly baffling. You'd think if there was one player Deila could get the best out of, it'd be him, yet Lenny got far more out of him and it can't be just a bad run of form if he's playing great for Norway.

It's our tactics. There's no support for any of our players in it.
