Ok maybe I have not put my point over correctly - he is the best of a bad bunch of CF's we have at our disposal until Brown comes back.

"I also recall him playing alongside Brown as we went down 2-1 at home to Aberdeen in the Scottish, so it can't solely be based on Brown being missing". -Are you having a laugh!!!??? I also recall bla bla bla what is that meant to mean?? I never said when he and Brown played together we would never lose another game!!!!

My point was he has yet to show up in any of the bigger matches, with Aberdeen now being our biggest domestic rival were he was bullied and done hee haw.

You conveniently missed out the rest of my post also, the guy has proven nothing yet in a celtic jersey.

Think him and kayal need to play together until brown is back an then who has been in the best form should stay in the team.

Imo Mulgrew playing has screwed everything up in the middle that's were we lost the game last night imo

dont get this guy, and not based solely on last nights rubbish performance, is he a defensive mid, centre mid or a playmaker? doesnt really stand out as anything to me, not good enough

dont understand people saying hes been excellent - i havent seen anything special from him since hes been here and if people are happy with him our standard has dropped severely. Not long ago we had Ki, Ledley, Wanyama, Kayal, Brown as our CM options, but now Johansen is who always starts. We really are * these days.

Everyone apart from Kayal, Gordon, Lustig, McGregor, VVD got pass marks last night, he was shocking.

Wow.... cannot believe what I'm seeing here, he was unbelievable again last night I thought, he was our most positive and progressive players and worked his socks off. It's a pity almost no one seems to be on the same wavelength as him.

Unbelievable? Guess we'll need to agree to disagree on this one.

Did you see his through ball that Ambrose managed to block? (see! he did something right!)

    Sorry, he's darn average.

In my opinion, he had a bit of a horror show in both legs of the Maribor tie.

Not moving out of the way in time when Virgil's header was goal bound and then messing up that chance when he was through one on one with only their keeper to beat.

Moving on to last night, the slack pass that was intended for Ambrose and ended up putting one of their players through on goal was probably his stand out moment in the second leg too.

Good enough for the Scottish Premiership, but he looks shaky to me so far in Europe.

Aye unbelievable how he passed them the ball countless times, I'm glad others where not on the same wavelength, well apart from Izzy and Efe who done the same.

He should have been Hooked at half time instead of Kayal.

Why are people so against him, he's one of the best players we have.

Delia has been asking for high intensity pressure on the ball since he got here, last night nobody was doing that, particularly 1st half apart from johansen who actually had to sprint ahead of stokes on numerous occasions and pressure the defence coz stokes was standing still on the halfway line

Brilliant last week, abysmal last night.

Really can't work this guy out, sometimes he looks great, sometimes very poor. Really needs to improve his consistency because he has potential. Something is just not clicking though and it's infuriating to watch.

    Must improve

Cause he played * last night and I would say in the first leg but not as bad as last night.

And to be fair McGregor and Kayal where doing all that but never gave the ball away countless times to the other side putting pressure on us.

Now this may be a blip for him, but he deserves all the stick he is getting right now.
