Probably our best player on the park tonight despite his goal line clearance. I think he could have went down and got the guy sent off too when he burst through, to honest for his own good

 

Great performance, just so unlucky with the moment everyone is talking about. His composure could have been better through on goal, but he is a midfielder so not too worried.

 

Fantastic energy from him, if only our homegrown players had half the stamina and professionalism of these Scandinavians.

Showed a good range of passing tonight, his chipped ball to set up our goal was something Fabregas would have been proud of.

STILL not sure whether he's best as a DM holding or an attacking mid though, he seems to have it all in terms of energy, pace, tackling, vision, passing but against top opposition we can't let him be box to box as we'll get picked off.

 

I must have been watching another game cos I thought he was *. Then again I've seen people giving Izzy pelters tonight on facebook and I thought he was brilliant.

VVD was pretty good, thought Gordon, Izzy, Kayal and Berget all had very good games as did Lustig and McGregor. Mulgrew was average and playing the lone striker is pointless as Stokes and Griffiths had nothing given to them all night.

Mostly happy with the game and should get through at home.

Brilliant tonight, looked like he was playing as an attacking midfielder, unlucky not to get his goal.

 

I think he has everything in his locker to be a top top player. The whole team needs to get to his level of fitness and stamina. Imagine 11 guys like him running around for 90 mins we'd be very difficult to beat.

 

You wonder if he got as fit as he is with the way Deila trained his old team or he is just naturally like that, reminds me of Scott Brown before he started getting all his injuries.

 

I love him.

 

Played well last night, brilliant bursts of energy from him at times. Not the best at tracking back or winning the ball in the middle of the park but when Brown comes back it will give him more freedom.

Was awful tonight; but so was everybody except Gordon, VVD, Lustig and Kayal to be fair.
McGregor was good first half.

 

Can't say I'm overly impressed.

Thought he looked alright last season in some league games, but this season he's been poor for me. Last week he was calamitous, Ronny called him their best defender, * knows what he was doing last week on the line, I've never saw a player stand on the goalline before in all my life. And as for his collapse in the box, * me.

His passing is decidely dodgy at times.
