I think that some of our players do deserve applause for what they have done this season namely Broony and Hinkle

Naka (if it is his last game) deserves an ovation for what he has given us over the years

    Thats IMO anyway...

Maybe the didn't deserve it, I agree it was more of a consolation clap, but whatever happened to faithful through and through, and not caring if we win lose or draw.. becuase yes that is what sets us apart from all other fans, we follow them through thick and thin. Bring on next season, with or without Strachan.

Seek out some of my other posts in here mate for my thoughts on the season, I just said as Celtic fans, its what sets us apart from the rest, that we DO applaud our team, even when they DONT deserve it :50:

aw naw dont get me wrong im not saying you believe they deserved an applause and that we had a good season, im simply just saying that this season particularly has * me off and at the end i was too disgusted to clap

Look at our results for the second half of the season, They are as poor as a bottom 6 team.

no need to go into details imo.....knowing we flung away a 7 point * lead is hurtful enough for me to think about

but i do see what your saying, for champions to be playing like that and getting such results is just not on

agree mate if wee had 4 or 5 more that had put the effort in that they did we might have been able to put in good team performances that would of won us the title just didnt seem to play as a team for most of the season

After the Seville season when we gave a valiant effort but still lost or even the season when McDonald done us - then yes - sing your heart out for the players - 'win lose or draw'.

Honestly though, after that performace today - I have never booed so loudly in my life - it was totally pathetic today. The Tartan Army is embarrassing for their backing regardless of how poor Scotland are - is that what we want for Celtic - no matter how poor you are we will cheer you on? -

Over and Over? -Yes but only if the effort(not ability but effort) deserves it - and it didn't today - or the rest of this season.

The players knew the game was up by half time. They were just going through the motions the same as the fans.

Still its always nice to applaud the team off in the last home game.

Bang on the money mate. We are probably too supportive at times, clapping them off the park will make Liewell think that everything is fine and dandy, and don't spend any serious money yet again, it's a * pisstake. The league was lost last week, not here, Huns were always going to win today. Strachan simply has to walk.

in our last four games we managed to score in one of them.

this is the worst season in a long long time.

Naw mate a few stayed and applauded. Boruc started clapping for the fans even before the fans gave them an ovation. I also seen Caldwell and Aiden and O'Dea join in but im sure there were a few others

Agreed, it has been total murder. Celtic must move on from the Strachan era.

its about time we showed our feelings, am * sick of being "faithful through and through" over the last month, the board need to know what we feel and if i was lawell and heard the fans applauding at the end of the game i would be thinking aye they seem quite content with our mediocre football aslong as the books are balanced

MASSIVE CLEAR OUT IN SUMMER REQUIRED THAT TEAM TODAY HAS TOO MANY PASSENGERS :31:

how that team went on a 12 game winning run i'll never know. only for that stroke of luck we'd have finished with 70 odd points.

that performance at hamilton was shocking.

I stayed after the match hoping they'd come back out but wasn't surprised when they didn't. I applauded.
