Just watched Joe Rogans special on Netflix. I love his podcast, but wasn't expecting much of his stand up... pleasantly surprised, thought it was brilliant.
So thought I'd get a thread going. I'm sure there's one out there but couldn't find it.

Idioteque I’ll laugh until my head comes off
Not keen on Joe Rogan but did watch Billy Connolly's new stand up High Horse recently. Still got it
-
His new special is ok.
Big fan of his podcast, his stand up not so much.
Doug Stanhope, Bill Burr, Louis CK are the best comics alive right now.Valhalla likes this. -

Dave Chappelles comebacks are up on Netflix, two shows about an hour long each.
Halfway through the first one, superb so far. -
Bill Burr is easily the best stand up for me, by a long way. Spent his whole career moaning about women and children and at like 50 he's suddenly gonny be a dad and married
Watched some of Chapelle's new * and thought it was brilliant. -
Like everything else going along live is far better than watching recorded footage.
Even local comedy clubs are good usually.likes this. -

He has still got it. Brilliant stand up. -
Jim Norton is good, Jim Jeffries too, although he can make you feel uncomfortable it just adds to the humour.
My favourite stand up is Stewart Lee.Bumblebee likes this. -

If you haven't listened to any Doug Stanhopes specials then you are missing out big time.
Always say he is a funnier version of Bill Hicks
His stand up is beyond geniusMince.Charming likes this. -
Chappelle's second Netflix special is far superior to the first imo. 'Deep in the Heart of Texas"
There is a part where he asks someone in the audience for a cigarette and two people throw a smoke up, quite clearly just normal cigarettes but it then cuts to him smoking it and it's clearly a reefer. :giggle1: -
Joe Rogan stand up is shockingly poor.

Did you see the difference in the smoke he was smoking to the ones the crowd threw up at him? :giggle1:
