I have never boo'd any Celtic player but he openly criticised our league and our club.

Made yer bed now lie in it.

I have a poster on my wall of the title winning side last season and he is standing there at the end with his face trippin him.

 

I don't want him back. Remember his comments about the SPL.

It won't happen anyway. Villa will want much of their fee back and he can't return within 12 months. Maybe Rangers will bid for him? Would that surprise you?

 

Basically that sounds like "I cant hack it in the premiership, came bail me out Celtic". If we got a decent price for him and his was willing to take a decent wage (roughly, or slightly less what he was on) then I'd take him back.

 

I don't think he ever criticised the club, he spent 7 years here and played his heart out every game. The SPL is rubbish compared to the big leagues. There are only 2 teams with any money and most of the others play a style of football that is all about the physical instead of technique. I'd much prefer it if all the teams in Scotland played a game more like the Potugese or Dutch leagues for instance.

Although i always think it's wrong to go back to a club.

I have said all of this before but here we go. Stan didn't handle things well in the end - he made an * of it. We all make an * of things sometimes - all of us. If I make an * of something I hope that the people I have * off are prepared to look at all the good things I've done for them as well as the bad things before they decide that I am a non-person in their eyes.

For me Stan's good work for the club outweighs the bad things he did in the end.

We are Celtic, we're not like Rangers - bitter.

 

all good points,i'd luv him back,quality player!honestly cant c it hapnin anyway,hes 10 times the player graveson is,who runs around like a chicken with no head,not bad at shooting but everything else,hes pish,dont like slating our players but stans well better!

I will never understand why anyone would want to leave Celtic for a middle of the road EPL team. If one of the big 4 come in then I could understand.

He wanted another challenge not even cl he wanted to play in the epl to test himself and he thought if he did good enough him and mon could maby even push for a euro place

 

I don't think so. He went there thinking he was the hairy dogs bollocks only to discover that he is no better than average down there.
