Stadium Re-Development....A Good Idea? or Not?

The question would be how to pay for a major renovation and upgrade. Possibly selling the naming rights to Celtic would be an answer to that?

 

Looks brilliant, think it looks better being simplified like that.

 

Not sure if they own the street on this side leading up to the stadium where the burger vans park up but it could really be doing with being tidied up

 

Im assuming that is just tensioned fabric? … and temporary? since it is still covering windows.

looks ok but of course starts to make some of the surroundings look shoddy. Hopefully there is a long term plan for more permanent improvements… structural as well as cosmetic.

Although will always be more concerned at what happens on the pitch.

there is no plans to do anything with main stand,the fanzine we got a knock back for Alcohol licence from council but talks still continuing.

 

Since they are temporary we probably didn’t need planning or anything, hope we do have a plan in long term but I imagine that would come with the main stand being renovated at some stage down the line.

Wont hold my breath though, * all happened with the supposed hotel.

 

I was at this game. One of the loudest roars I've ever heard when Andy Thom's winner went in. To think as well that there was not nearly as many fans in the stadium in those days cause we hadnt finished building the stadium.

The atmosphere during that time was incredible though....I think its because we'd just come out of the dark ages and any little bit of success was appreciated massively by the support. The young team these days dont have a clue. I started going when Lou Macari was the manager and it was torture....so I appreciate whatever success we've had since then.

 

My * does this not take me back. So many incredible memories of supporting this club/team

 

They submitted plans to build a structure behind Lisbon lions to hold functions and wedding

I say submitted either that or had plans drawn up

Police Scotland have said they want it reviewed as they believe alcohol will be better policed if available at the venue as just now people are tanking them selves up before the game and leaving late from pub to go to game causing major congestion problems
