Stadium Re-Development....A Good Idea? or Not?

Honest enough answer ha, that being said those lights will be capable of all sorts. They will do all kinds of displays in the future too

 

When I seen the clip of them in the empty stadium I thought this is * and a waste of money , quickly changed my mind after tonight.

 

Still * off the players don’t walk out to to YNWA rather than what we have now - a sing song for the tv cameras. For 2m or so we spent its pass marks for me but would’ve rather had a capable RB in before the lights . Can only imagine what it will be like in the champions league next season

 

Thought they lights where quite pish to be honest, if they made the light show along with at least a celtic song or something folk can sing along to then itd make a lot more sense

 

That's what I was saying last night. Music needs to be tweaked to more of a Celtic theme and it'll be amazing.

 

Lights looked good defo adds something.

But for 4 million I was kinda expecting golden midgets to be shot from cannons across the stadium while farting out diamonds all over the fans.

 

It looks good with a full crowd but I do think it's unnecessary.

Celtic Park already had an exceptional European reputation, new lights aren't going to make it any more appealing. TV companies always fawned over European games which had our * old lights, they weren't demanding new LEDs to continue coverage.
Especially when there are far better ones on offer in Munich, Monchengladbach and numerous other stadia.

4 Mill surely could have removed stupid barriers, improved seating, toilets, food stands, or cleaned and refurbed the entire stadium so we don't need to cover it in banners.

 

Aye but those stadium improvements don't cut our electric bill. Was getting on lawells * going down the local to put a tenner on his electric key.

 

We have 100% record after a light show

 

What song did they actually use during it?

Can imagine the green brigade and that sort will come up with something to go along with the tune in no time.

It was just some generic, nondescript music, a bit like the menu page of a computer game or something.

Probably a cd that came free with the lights.

Lonesome Boatman fading into Discoland would be my shout

Get thunderstruck played along with lights.

 

Battle Without Honor or Humilty, although I think they use that at Hampden

Anything by Future World Music or Audiomachine would do the job.

 

Need better music, other than that, looks beautiful. What a result for their debut as well

 

Surely it's got to be Discoland.
