Stadium Name

Almost every stadium in America is named after a sponsor and the companies pay alooot of money to have their name on the stadium....why not in Scotland? Its a good and easy way to bring in revenue

 

It is the way forward and easy money but tradition here says that Parkhead is the name of Celtic's park ,hard thing to break for a lot of fans but if it does change it will still be Parkhead to myself and probaly many more fans .

Sell it.. It will always be Celtic park to us 25 million quid would come in very handy indeed..

our house of steal is called celtic park for a reason i couldnt handel this stadium gettin called the nike stadium or the tennets stadium celtic park is the name and thats they way it should stay

 

i dont care if we do it, we get more cash and we'll all still call it celtic park anyway

It's not just the 5mill revenue that it will generate per season also might help us upgrade the stadium as well.

Wouldn't bother me to be honest if we went ahead with something like this. As Kennydal mentioned, all of us would still call it parkhead or celtic park. Any extra revenue that is going to help fund new players is worth it in my books.

What's in a name? Who cares... like most have said the fans would still call it Parkhead/CP, and that's what matters. Take the cash!

BTW, I doubt it's as much as £5m though... I just don't see someone offering a Scottish club that sort of money over a stadium name.
