    To all those that think, "well if it brings in money..." etc etfuckingcetera, fine. Go sponsor someone else. I paid more for my shirt so it wouldn't advertise Carling. I hate the nike tick and all the wee tags. But i love wearing the hoops on matchdays. It's not all about the money. Thats why our game is so * up today. I miss the old Celtic end Rangers end Jungle and the Stand. you knew where to go and you knew everyone around you. And you sang Rebel Songs. A few years back it was the Belfast and not the PC Brigade....

    dont get me wrong. I agree with you there. football is like all things. it evolves. has to. but support for a team involves passion. it's irrational. can't be bought. can be sold tho. and exploited. and tho i miss the old stadium i dont miss the * (or * as it tended to be) when i get up to my spot in the nth stand upper, I;m a wee bit out of breath but the feel good factor is still right up there

    I think this is inevitable however, if it happens it must be for maximum revenue £5 million per year cant be sniffed at in the current climate and any way to all lovers of this Club it will remain Celtic Park anyway

    This is good news as far as I am concerned. 5m per year for the next 5 years is decent money which can only help us out transfer wise. For me the stadium is and always will be Celtic Park so I don't mind selling the naming rights to bring in some much needed cash. I'll still call it Celtic Park. Obviously given how hard it is for us to make good money playing out of the spl we need to look for other avenues to bring in money and this seems like a good easy way to boost the kitty to me.
