    There will not be a running track at Celtic Park, why on earth would there be? Thats what Hampden and all the new indoor areans are for!!!

    Behind the goals at hampden is * you don't want a running track around the pitch, the fans are to far away from the pitch if that happens

    If u read my other post you would see wat i said.....celtic park is to small for a running track ect. you would need to move the stands back, is that physically possible?...so chill on that, plus CP is only for the opening venue and ibrox will be for the rugby 7`s as it has already been planned out. So i suppose they will not give us a grant to upgrade our stadium capacity wise( not rulling out fittings ect.) as it will only be used for that feature.

    yup thats why ur miles away from the pitch behind the goals, as they obviously intended it to be used in a major avent like the comenwealth games.

    They could put it round the outside under the tunnel at the back o the stadium. It's no like they do anything special on the track i can watch anybody run any day out my window ffs.

    I,m sure the opening ceremony is at a time when there will be no football being played. IT will be the end of season when the games take place.

    Glasgow City Council will be subsidising it and paying for our relocation to Hampden for a season. That's what's being discussed just now anyway, my old man is the contracts manager for CCG the company that just built the Lennoxtown complex.
