    Great result today. See that's why I didn't go I have never seen St Pauli win ( + I couldn't afford it of course.)

    I'm not mate. Not sure if I have heard of them ( maybe I have) are they run out of Leeds ? Will look into that.

    I have only been over for a couple of the Celtic/St Pauli weekends. There is one lad on our bus that goes over quite often but thinks he just goes on his own or sometimes with the family I don't think he is a member of any group either. Will ask him if he is on the bus next week.

    When I was at the Leeds Festival last year- I spotted a few people with St Pauli on them. Never got a chance to have a chat with them, but is this the Yorkshire St Pauli lot? Must be bored this afternoon to remember this! Come on Sunday!

    Just back from this today! Easily one of the best weekends i have ever had.

    St. Pauli fans were the friendliest, most-welcoming people i have ever came across and the district is absolutely fantastic and oozes culture! The setup of the weekend is class, and the game on Saturday was incredible. Really a very special club. Stadium was packed to the rafters with about an hour to kick off! Atmosphere, beer on the terraces, place jumping, very little police, no trouble and awesome bratwursts!

    Also loved how the players always do a lap around the stadium to clap the fans, and even saw the players standing about outside mingling with the fans - so different with the situation at Celtic.

    All the places like the Jolly Roger and Knust where the gig was were all crazy too!

    Was there a good turn out of Celtic fans ?

    Whenever I have been the game has been lunchtime on the Sunday. Which isn't ideal if you have been in the Knust til daft o'clock on the Saturday.

    There was a good turn out, the announcer in the stadium said there were just over 400 in the stadium and a few from the Fanladen were expecting more arriving later on just for the party. It was much better with a 1pm kick-off on the Saturday this time, made for a looong day of Astra!

    Highlight has to be a guy going on stage to sing:

    'We don't care about thatcher, she don't care about us.
    We're all flying to Hamburg.. On our easyjet * bus!'

    Watched the game today, easily one of their best performances of the season and great to do it to Braunschweig a team sitting 2nd aswell. Really thought they might've dropped down this year considering their much more difficult run in compared to the other relegation rivals. Had to play the top 3 teams in their last 4 games, but still managed safety thankfully.

    I actually put on a fourfold bet, with st pauli to win, and the team above and the two teams below to all be beaten - so basically betting on the overall matchday's perfect outcome for St. Pauli and it came up perfectly! Bochum, Aue and Dresden all getting humped! Nice wee £40.

    Was actually going to start a like a generic St. Pauli thread, since i noticed this is the first season in a while were we've not had a season thread to keep up with their results - but figured it was too late in the season so will wait til next august and keep it updated for the some folk who don't follow the games as such, but still like to check their results.


    StPauli1916, i see you are from Yorkshire - i'd hazard a guess that you are probably involved with the Yorkshire St. Pauli fanclub?
