I simply cannot fathom that people want to drop Robbie Keane or send him back to Tottenham. The Scottish Cup is still up for grabs and Keano is our biggest goal threat by far so he has to be in the team. If we get knocked out of the Cup then perhaps that would be the time to start focusing on the players who will be here next season.

I would keep McGowan on the bench and bring him on if needed. Granted he played well at the weekend but Sheridan also had good home performances. Away games are a different matter. Ras, Fortune and Keano for me.

Seems like that and i dont understand why,3 months ago we were all jumping the height of ourselves that weve signed him,be it on loan and now we're wanting him to leave, some fans are so fickle its unbelievable, why on earth would you want to get rid of someone of keanes quality,if he was to go who would get the goals? if it wasnt for him we would have struggled badly the last 6 or 7 games.
I for one hope he stays for the rest of his loan and keeps banging the goals in.

Anyway, for the game on wednesday id go with

    Zaluska

    Hinkel
    Loovens
    Thompson
    Braafheid

    McGeady
    Crosas
    NGuemo
    Samaras

    Rasmussen
    Keane

    Subs:
    Boruc
    Wilson
    O'Dea
    McCourt
    Fortune
    McGowan
    McGinn

can someone enlighten me to why keane is suddenly being dropped and slated? he is the best striker we have had since larsson and he has scored 9 goals in 9 games and sets goals up, whats wrong with him?

plus anyone know if mccourts fit?

    n'guemo Ki

    Mgeady Kamara or McCourt

    Keano

I know tony mowbray plays with four man defence but I would go with an extra centre half Martin oneill done this I dont know why nobody has said this before now

Keano will bang em in up front

I think it's on ESPN. You might want to double check that though.

Like the idea. Both our full backs like to bomb it up the wing so their defensive duties would not be as much as long as our CM's cover our defenders. Think it could work and is worth a try, although I do think Crosas should start.

    Boruc
Hinkel Thompson Rogne (if fit) Braafheid
    N'Guemo Ki
    McGeady McCourt (if fit) Brown
    Keane

McGowan's performance on Saturday makes it hard to drop him.
Somebody made a good point about away games being a different matter, but he has to learn sometime.
A lot of people saying 'the league is over' etc - so now is as good a time as any.

See no need to change the keeper, the back four or the two CM's. Keane has to start, and McGowan should be given another chance in the hole.

Maybe McGeady or Fortune could be dropped, but I would start with the same side as the front four is pretty flexible.
