Above the Huns, for now. Hope Aberdeen do us a favour today.

I'm very disappointed. Feels like being back in the Mowbray era.

Hooper, Forster and Forrest were good today. Stokes and Mulgrew were also ok.

Happy with getting the three points.

We're not at our best in terms of our performances, but we can't expect to dominate and play good football every game so it's important just to get the three points when we aren't playing well.

St. Mirren were powderpuff, they had a lot of the play, but lacked any sort of cutting edge and that could also be applied to us at times in games.

Totally agree with this. St Mirren's midfield ran the show today.

Don't know if the confidence is down just now because so far they are playing like a team that doesn't have any. Thank * we scored though else it could have been another St Johnstone.

Performance wasn't great but I remember a poll asking would we prefer to play the Celtic Way or play bad but get the result, and the most votes were for playing bad but getting the result. We didn't play the best today and people still aren't happy. We got 3 points against a decent St. Mirren side and away from home, I am delighted anyway.

Well done Celtic, a valuable 3 points - generally played well and I really like Cha at RB, and young James Forrest is a breath of fresh air !
All credit however to St Mirren who despite being 2 goals down played some of the best football I`ve seen against us this season - this is a team on the up ! If this is Scottish football on its knees then i think getting back on its feet might not be so painful after all.

thought we done better than some folks are making out. thought hooper and stokes looked hungry, cha was good also. ki needs a rest i think. as for people having a moan at wilson i thought he done not bad seeing as he had to cover the ground that 2 cb's should be covering. their goalie made a few good saves, if not for him it would of been more.

there was a thread earlier in the week about undropable players, this match showed that joe is undropable.

Nobody gets pass marks but Forster for me - Brown, Ki, Kayal bypassed in the midfield pretty poor all round.

Hooper perhaps deserves a pass for being sharp for the goals, but didnt contribute much else

Lennon has the same squad that did so well last season, he is just not playing them in the same formation.

He needs to go back to the side that kick started our run in from January. No tinkering.

I predicted a win for Celtic today, and no doubt they duly delivered.
We were lucky to have Hooper fit and on-form, to take advantage of St Mirren's defensive errors. With a better SPL opponent, i could see Celtic losing indefinitely. Today's performance has highlighted the vulnerability of Celtic's defense. A dismal performance, but 3 points nonetheless.

Nigel Hasslebaink seems like a decent fellow. Well-spoken in that post-match interview. He played well today, as well.

can we ban Ki from playing internationals? I think he's a player that doesn't travel well. Notice how he's been a shadow of himself post international? He was like this coming back from the asian cup last year also.

Maj really is a horrid liability. Brown has been no where the last two games. Cha is a fantastic 200m runner and athlete. Not so good at football. Kayal was horrid, but he needs game time to sharpen up. Hooper was good today I thought. Same with Forester.

Maybe the win has come at a good time just now for us as well because hopefully the two week gap will give us time to work on the performance.

I do remember having crappy games under Martin O'Neill for instance and still winning the games so will take the win every time obviously. Can't play superb and have the win all the time but the performance really does need to improve because that's four matches now where the performance has been well under what we should be playing like.

Crap display, 3 points. Usual business in the SPL, we'll be murdered if we play like that in Europe ... Oh no, we are already out:31:

I think that Ki seriously needs a rest. He's played what? two 90-minutes spl games then went to Japan played 90 minutes also then came back straight back to squad and also played 90 full minutes. Then there was Sion game.
