Away to the 4th in the league in a cup tie is a tough match. We've been a bit better than the last few games and managed to get ahead. There are some positives.

The chances we've created have been better than St Mirren's.

Hart had one save make. Scales had to pull out and turn his face away not to get kicked in the face. It was a dangerous high boot.

 

No control of the match at all and conceded 9 corners, with St Mirren hitting the bar and forcing a good save out of Hart.

Needs to be a * of a lot better in the second half.

 

We had 67% possession. I am surprised we had that much of the ball considering St Mirren at the start.

 

Maeda needs to watch it defensively. He's wandering a bit and we are letting Tanser get a free run. Need to stop that earlier.

 

They're not going to get nothing in the game though and they've not had a single clear cut chance. We've created more chances.

Really dire isn't it? But still I feel really positive about some aspects of the game. Hart has had to be on his game, the midfield seems missing and Calmac is having to cover a lot of ground. Bernardo and O'Riley just don't look right playing together but at least they're helping the defense out and kyogo and Idah are having a go up front.

 

Only annoying thing about the dive is that if it had happened at the other end the commentators would have been screaming for a penalty and they'd have probably got it.

 

What's the new system I'm reading about? Playing kyogo out of position? Goes to show Rodgers hasn't a * clue or is too arrogant to change anything
