    Come on mate, what does someone need to do to get praise from you? When does he give possession away? Very rarely. Just about every pass finds a team-mate, he controls the play from deep. Very similar to Xavi at Barcelona, I'm not saying he's as good, cos I know he's not. But he plays in that style.

    Don't see how you can say he had a bad 45 minutes, what did he do wrong? He probably completed more passes than anybody on the pitch, can't remember him giving possession away either.

    Do you focus on a perceived lack of physical strength instead of revelling in the technical ability?

    Sure people maybe overrate him on here, but it's only because he's doing something right and clearly has potential. You don't see us overrating Naylor, Loovens, Samaras etc....

    Today is probably our best midfield IMO with the exception of McGeady for Maloney. Who's better than Crosas to sit deep and control the play?

    They get extremely carried away with a good result (7-0), and celebrate like mad, and then when we have 45 minutes of a dull game, we're suddenly in a 'tremendous dip in form.'
