We were excellent today for the whole 92mins, relentless pressing and quick passing forward, our teams full of confidence, a decent result on Tuesday and you can add belief to that. Some of our goals were world class and the rest were just very good. Thanks Celtic

 

and after being unfairly dropped when Engels arrived Bernardo has got the bit between his teeth to show everyone he should be starting with CalMac and Engels and he’s right, over to Hatate to try to win his starting place back and so it goes on when you’ve qaulity throughout your squad

I feel like we barely got out of gear and won 6-0. Just oozing quality just now.

Excited as I’ve ever been about a team. Rodgers had a wee dig about criticism of the football last season, but this stuff is * night and day even though it clicked end of the season.

 

Think the football we were playing was poor too often last season....until....it clicked.
Especially after the board shafted him in both transfer windows...which he also referenced several times with vocal, but smart, digs at the board in the summer there.
Once it clicked been no looking back. Had a great preseason with great wins against 2 top sides and it's still getting better.
Any test thrown at us so far has been dealt with.

Not only matched it....we've smashed it due to scoring 20, conceding 0.
But got to give credit to Aberdeen (don't know why but whenever i hear that phrase I hear it in Gordon Dalziel voice) they've done great.
Not faced us or them yet though...although I can see them giving the other them a game.

If the ref was at a minimum average ability, we could've had 8 goals yesterday.

Aye, with Kyogo and I think Maeda breaking into space and their defenders weren't getting back in the middle. Would've been a ball across the goal and a simple tap in.

We've seen his film before.

I think looking back, it was the plan all along to get Bernardo in long term (and the deal was probably more or less done, possibly verbally, months before the window even opened).

We hardly played him domestically, but he featured heavily in the European campaign - pretty much tells you we KNEW he was a quality European player but needed some time to adjust to Scottish football.

He's a genuine quality player, captain of the Portugal under-21s. And he's OURS.

Absolutely love the big laddie!
