Think this is the exact team he’ll go with, maybe just keeping Maeda fit for the midweek bringing him off/on for 1 half. Trust and ralston are guaranteed if Johnston and CCV are doubts, then Taylor and Kuhn as Sunday showed what we lack without them.

Think I'd rest CCV altogether, he'll come back in against Dortmund no bother. AJ I'd bring on at half time to give him a proper run leading up to Dortmund.

Other than that, full steam ahead. Get the job done and bring on guys needing minutes.

    Schmeichel
    Ralston
    Trusty
    Scales
    Taylor
    Calmac
    Bernardo
    Engels
    Kühn
    Kyogo
    Maeda

AJ, McCowan, Reo, Jamesy and Idah to come off the bench.

    4-0 Celtic. Again.

I don't think we need to risk too many in this. Dortmund on Tuesday so I would be certainly making sure our key men are good to go for that.

    Schmeichel

    Ralston
    Trusty
    Scales
    Taylor

    McGregor
    Bernardo
    Engels

    Kuhn
    Kyogo
    Maeda

That leaves Johnston, CCV and Hatate getting a rest.

Think next Tuesday will have a fair bearing on the line up - depends what BR’s thoughts are about who starts in the centre of the park and up top. He may want to see Cal/Bernardo/Engels together for example before going away to Dortmund. He may also think Idah is playing his way into match fitness and is confident off the back of Falkirk.

Think there could be a couple curveballs.

Would imagine a midfield 3 of
McGregor , Engels, Bernardo with Hatate coming back for Dortmund , Mcgregor not playing the full 90 , Reo getting 20 mins with McCowan getting minutes as well .
CCV and AJ rested for Dortmund.
Be interesting what he does up top , think Kyogo will certainly start in Germany , probably Saturday too.
    No Palma thanks.

Fancy us to really hammer these Saturday..

Yes, thats team for me, keep Kyogo fresh for midweek. If we had our first choice back 4 starting-which seems unlikely, I would be tempted to rest Cal but just reckon we need that layer of protection with that back 4.

Pretty much this but Id have CCV on the bench - if my Saturday has to end with an almost 3 hour drive back up the road he can sit on the bench lol. Get it won and then sub as many as possible. 4-1.

    A RCB dilemma for Rodgers..

Nawrocki no game time, Welsh hasn't shown up well or play Trusty or Scales slightly out of possession..

Should be Trusty we've paid £6m for him, he should be able yo adapt.

Trusty will probably play but we paid £4.3m for Nawrocki and Rodgers has him arguably 5th choice CB.

Aye, think it's clear he's not rated by Rodgers.

Last week showed we can't, and shouldn't underestimate teams, though I doubt Saints will give us as tough a game.

We should play as strong a side as possible, bar anyone carrying a knock. We don't want to drop any points tomorrow and then similar on Tuesday.

I don't like these 5:45 kick-offs, got to think they're bad for match attendences as well.
