Think we played at 60% today. That's us got a cushion at the top so bring in Inter :celt_2:

Overall today our midfield did not have it's best game and I thought Denayer was poor but we deserved to win so we march on.

Tim , there are many stupid posts , but nearly every game this year Gordon has been a mere onlooker . True he made a good double save towards the end , but that's why we signed him . Gordon no doubt has been a good signing for us but don't get carried away with your vulgarity .

We weren't at our best today but that was entirely understandable given the magnitude of the game on Thursday. I could see during the game players were not full blooded in some of the 50/50s.

But even playing under par we still got the victory, cost me money on betting but ill take a victory any day! No injuries either it seems so definitely good preparation for Inter.

Great from the fans again in good voice, shocking from Sky blatantly turning the volume down.

I think Gordon has had practically nothing to do all year , before today's game.
Gordon has done what he has been signed to do, many other players have been equally important for us .

We actually looked well in that white strip. Think I will purchase that top on sale and keep it for my collection!

What I'm looking for is a run of games where we look like a team. Where we create plenty of chances in attack and look composed in defence.

Too often the 11 players sent out look as if they've just met each other.

Thought in the 2nd half of games the team has been sitting back letting the other teams come onto them a bit too easily. Today lost a goal when a player dived into a tackle and the player skipped past him to play it into the middle. St Johnston players gave their all today and when they got the goal more desire, thought the team lost a bit of composure and could have dropped a couple of points but they came away with the 3 maybe they were already thinking of the inter game.

    Missed the game.

Anyone give us a run down of the game? Score line suggest it was a close game.

Aye, no sure what games he's been watching recently. Must have been re-runs from when we played at Hampden for a season.

Don't think the last few weeks can be described as we haven't played as a team. Indeed they've been pretty much the archetypal "Team Performance".

Seen the goals and Gordon's saves, but not what happened in the other 80 odd minutes!!!

Is there not a wee contradiction in the first three lines .
" sitting back and letting other teams come at us"
"Today lost a goal when a player dived into a tackle ......"

Wasn't one of our better performances, and well below where we have been in recent games. However, it's a place where we have struggled in the past, and on a horrific surface, yet again. We are never going to go out and blow every team away, and to win titles, you have to win games like yesterday. They will also have been looking for a big reaction after being knocked out the Scottish Cup last week. 3 points, job done, and we move on as far as I'm concerned.
