Obviously Gordon's saves were great, but should he have done better when they scored? I was thinking maybe he could have kept the ball and not given the rebound they scored from

    I can't believe what I'm reading.

We don't need to step up a gear because we don't need to. We haven't been troubled in weeks, today is the only time in months I could really have seen us dropping points. It's not as if we are only creating 2 or 3 chances and taking them, we are creating plenty, just been unlucky not to have more goals. One of these days one side is going to get a right doing from us.

County, was pish, aye. However they sat with 11 men on the edge of their box. Win was a win.

Motherwell at home was a fantastic performance. How any Celtic fan could have watched that game and came away thinking 'quite poor' I do not know.

Did we miss any chances, Excellent saves by their goal keeper?

Harsh mate was a wicked deflection off Denayer.

    18 goals for 1 against in 2015

    That's pretty consistent.

What struck me most about that game was the number of times the ball came back off the wood work and was comfortably cleared, and the number of times balls went into the box, but no Celtic player was there.

If we played with a poacher I'm sure we'd win a lot easier that we do.

You can't play this system with a 'poacher' for 2 reasons: A poacher doesn't work as a lone striker and a poacher wouldn't have the 'pressing' that's required for the way we play.

I'd agree that in some games we haven't been as clinical as we should be but that doesn't amount to us playing poorly. We've played well in most games since the winter break.

There in lies the problem. The way we play is holding us back on the domestic front, and gets us raped in Europe.

Total nonsense. How is it holding us back domestically? This is the first game you could say we slightly struggled in in about a month.

raped in Europe? We're into the last 32.

Holding us back? We've won every single game since the winter break. :56:

We'll see what happens on Thursday.

We played pretty well today overall. Deserved the win. Glad to see us 6 points in front at the top of the table now. Shame about Gordon losing his clean sheet but the main thing is we will go into the big one on Thursday full of confidence and with an injury-free team (mostly) on the way up.

Perhaps I'm being too critical, but the point is we did struggle. With the addition of Armstrong and GMS and the immediate impact they had , I really thought we were going to offer consistent performances, as well as results.

However today we were no better than we have been on several other occasions this season.

As for Thursday, I'm looking forward to it, but also very worried. I think we'll fail to capitalise on our chances, and will need Craig Gordon to keep the tie alive for the second leg.

Are you at the wind up? We concede our first goal in 9 games and you say we're not consistent. Consistent are exactly what we are. Today was the first game we didnt completely coast through in ages but we still won. We shouldnt expect to coast every game so what exactly are you looking for?
