    I don't see the point in playing almost whole teams of young players in this many preseason games. The senior players have no way to improve match fitness benefit or learn new systems, Deila can watch development squad matches to see any of these guys in action and there no benefit to the young players other than slightly tougher opposition.

    Spurs are playing all first teamers, bar Mason and we are playing a third string side...

    They are playing their first team players. Could be a tough 90 mins unless the youngsters play well.

    Yeah he isn't great there and I've always liked him in CM... No idea why Lindsay is in there instead. Could always just have brought him on from the bench.

    surely the only reason games like this are played is we get a healthy pay day, surely the people paying, you would think they want the first team, its a nothing game im every way you look at it

    Aye, good to see if any of them stand-out against strong opposition. Still think a few more first-team players would have been good for their experience, but suoppose with it being a friendly the result is meaningless and Ronnie wants to see what every player's capable of.

    I think Ronny stayed in Glasgow to work with the first team. Collins is taking the team today I read. Hopefully a couple of the youngsters do well enough to be considered for first team football. :50:
