The people moaning on here after drawing a pre-season game get a grip ffs we have a massive game coming up on Tuesday why run around like arseholes and risk injury for a friendly

Well lets try and change that by widening the debate or comments a little. , For example rather saying I don't like this player or I hate this or that, lets try and prove our point of view by providing a logical reason and backing it up with evidence.

Didnt see the game, but cant see what the fuss is about.
We played away to a team that played in the second tier of German football last year, and we had a 1-1 in a pre-season with them....???

What is the problem? Are we not still trying things, giving players a run etc?

No one wants them running round like arseholes but you can still expect the team to play well and show some signs of improvement.
Free kicks have been a joke for long enough...same players missing no matter what.
    defence making mistakes again.
lack of goals from 7 strikers we have at the club.

My perspective says we was poor and should be a lot better since we are already into cl qualifying.

Just the fact that Finny's prediction of Brown and Commons not being starters in August could well be true :smiley-laughing002:

Today in the two games we played almost forty players , only about five missing , we know our big goalie was probably rested . James and Scott are injured and that leaves just two Tony and Anthony that we are not sure about . I thought in the second half in particular that we had too many players up the park . In my opinion if we continue in competitive games to have so few players in our own half we will lose many goals , no matter who we play in defence .
But then again, it didn't damage Germany too much in the World Cup as they used their goalie as a sweeper .

I barely watched any probably 15 minutes of the actual game sparingly about 10 of them in the first half and of it he actually made a few saves and looked decent, couple of ones he pounced on on the ground when there was people about. Nothing great or anything though.

What was the final score? Had to cut at half time.

    1-1

Was frustrated after the game but I think that was mostly because I lost money on it. Every player got on the park and it was blistering hot so a second half drop off was to be expected.

    Cheers.

Nothing wrong with the scoreline for a pre-season friendly. Score lines for these fixtures aren't really that important. A lot of encouraging signs in that first half so a good exercise I guess.
