McGregor was the best player on the park in the first half, imo. Was roasting their RB at will. considering he isn't a LW I'd say he done really well

Pukki set up the goal and looked dangerous througout that first half, some clever runs and great skill.

It just feels like the same old *.
Cant score from free kicks,* ups from defence and apart from the odd game with lots of goals in it we even struggle to score from open play.
Take commons out that team and we are * for regular goals.
I think we really need a clear out and get maybe 5 new player in.

But Craig Gordon played well so I don't know what you are complaining about:icon_mrgreen:

Just a friendly but very little positives to take from it at all. Bored me to tears, much like the majority of last season.

Can't agree with that at all. Gordon or Biton for me.

Aye he set up the goal, not saying there was anything wrong with Pukki's performance. He just wasn't involved enough.

Yes, say this all the time. If Commons doesn't turn up, we won't win. The whole team revolves around him and he isn't exactly a world class player.

Just hope it's not the same old story this season. Really can't go through wathing another seasonw with that standard of football.

Although i don't believe pace is everything Just thinking can pace be improved in a player or its it just something you have got naturally , because if we could inject more pace into our forwards it would make a huge difference in the type of game that we are trying to play now.

Youngsters that should be gagging to show the new manager what they can do other that play poorly.
You dont have to run around like a nutter in the heat to play well.

Taking it in context its still no bad considering that we used almost all out players. Think we will win easily next Tuesday. If we get past this first round maybe the board will look at bringing one or two players .

Not good enough defence is a joke.

Agree with this tbh.. We also have to remember it's basically just training.. Too many folk getting themselves in a tizz over nothing tbh. Not one player will be giving it 100% tbh and nor should they.. Keep the injuries low.

Pukki is just like all our strikers average in most games cant really see how you taught he was dangerous throughout the first half. We need a really classy frontman if we are going to make progress in CL. Any of the other strikers could play behind such a striker if we manage to get one.

I'm hoping that in our first league game we'll line up something like:

    Forster
    Lustig Ambrose VVD Izzy
    Kayal Biton Johansen
    ?? Pukki ??

We could be doing with two wingers and another striker but I'm happy for Pukki to keep getting games because he's playing better these days.

Nobodies getting in a tizz over anything as far as I can say. But from what we have seen so far under Ronny there hasn't been much in the way of any signs of potential. Still look like a team missing Wanyama and hooper. We have just gotten a new manager so they should be keen to impress to keep their place, so some shouldn't just be treating it as a day out in the park.

This place is becoming utterly predictable now.

Same people spouting the same * after every game.

It's really not worth the hassle.

For those who are in love.....
Pukki was good today, i have doubts on mcgregor but he rinsed that right back to bits and was our best outlet..
Kayal looked really good and was linking up well with biton who picks out some lovely passes..
Craig Gordon looked really cool and confident in his first outing..
    Commons was decent before injury..

I'm afraid that's your lot as after that, don't get me started on the back line or the second half..
