He seen lots of the ball and handled everything well. One decent to good save too.

Happy to see many youngsters and fringe players get the opportunity to show what they can do BUT i think Lenny may have been correct in not letting too many of them get a run in the first team ....... many are decent players but no more than that.

Hope Ronny has some better ideas for our next game ... we have not really looked good for any of the 90mins that i have seen this pre season

First half was at least half decent to watch, defending was * poor. Once again in the 2nd half the defending was woeful at times. We just seemed to stop attacking in the 2nd half..

Have no faith in the two youth centre halfs unfortunately, sorry. First time I have seen Fridjonsson and well, I wasn't overly impressed but it was only 45 mins. I wondered at the time why Lennon brought him in and I am still questioning it.

Decent work out once again though, will have helped the fitness. Our fringe players look like staying just that though. Few additions needed and I am glad to see us being linked with some pacey players.

Also Griffiths offers very little pushed wide.

Disappointed with that. Still pre-season but our performances should be better than that at this stage, should be beating teams like that.

Barely any positives to take from it, only one that springs to mind is Gordon's performance. We were terrible at the back and did next to nothing going forward. Badly need to sign some players.

I take it there is no realisation that this was a friendly, played in 34 degrees with a whole bunch of our youngsters thrown in too?

Nope. Just that we'll do * all in the CL. Righto :smiley-laughing002:

I honestly thought Mulgrew would turn out to be one of the best set piece takers we've ever had, he has seriously went backwards. He has tremendous ability but I think he needs to put in the effort on the training ground tbh. Look at guys like Ronaldo etc, these guys practice like f.

He should be scoring direct from free kicks quite regularly with that left peg. I can't even remember his last one ?

Some good passing and some sloppy passing. Some decent defending and some poor defending. Some good attacking play and some * poor attacking play.

A decent run about. Ref was a bit of * as was the * with the long hair playing centre-half for Dresden.

Exactly how i feel. Ridiculous how people are raging. We played more or less our full squad. Would smash mobs like this with full strength & fit eleven out there.

Rather disappointed with the result tbh, preseason and all but still. Happy to see that Gordon did well.

I'd like to see Van Dijk taking more free kicks. The problem is that he never gets a chance when Stokes and Mulgrew are standing over the ball.

Still unbeaten. We do need more quality though and the only way to get that now is to buy it. Hopefully with Deila now in a couple of years we'll have well developed home grown guys ready to play (and I know we have young talent now but they're still raw).

Wasn't massively impressed with McGregor, he was tidy enough but he put in two terrible crosses that, if he had done better, would have resulted in a goal each time. Pukki was barely involved, bar one or two moments.

Aye Biton and Kayal looked good.
