    Out of curiousity, why do people keep putting Fortune as a lone striker?

    If he is a lone striker and by the general formation most are putting forward, that is 4-5-1, would it not be in reality 4-6-0 as I have never once seen Fortune stay anywhere near the box. So leaving no one there for when he or anyone else crosses the ball in??? :31:

    He tends to like to play out the sides and for 4-5-1, would definitely not be the striker I would place alone.

    Rasmussen is the ideal player for this formation or possibly Samaras, Murphy or even Hooper, but certainly not Fortune in my opinion.

    Just my opinion, but considering the system even Mowbray used with Fortune, there was never anyone in the box, when he was a lone striker.

    I am excited but also nervous to see how Lennon will line up the formation tonight.

    It doesn't make sense to start him, he hasn't played any games and his fitness won't be up to scratch! Anyway that's what my uncle told me (I share uncles with Aidan but on the other side of the family so we're not cousins)
