Cheers for the answers Braga fans.

What have happen for Braga in this summer regarding transfers? Lost any important players or signing some promising targets?

What formation do your expect to play in the home game?

    Hi,

Yes we lost many importants players unfortunately, but after an excellent performance on last season it was a thing that we're already prepared for .

    Players who left:
    - Eduardo (National team Goalkeeper) - Genoa
    - Filipe Oliveira (right wing defense) - Parma
    - Leone (center defense) - Palmeira (Brazil)
    - Evaldo (left wing defense) - Sporting Lisbon
    - Hugo Viana (center midfield) - Valencia
    - Luis Aguiar (center midfield) - Dynamo Moscow
    - Renteria (striker) - Porto

As you can see a lot of players leave the club, so I can not tell you 100% sure the formation that I expect but I think that will be something like this:

Goalkeeper: Marcos (if until the match we didin't find a new keeper)
    Left wing defender: Lucas
    Center defender: Rodiguez
    Center defender: Moises
    Right wing defender: Elderson
    Center midfield: Vandinho
    Center midfield (advanced): Salino
    Right wing: Alan
    Left wing: Paulo César
    Striker: Lima
    Striker: Meyong

    Formation: 4-1-3-2

As you can see, we don't have any "big name" in our team, although we have some international players such Rodriguez (Peru), Elderson (Nigeria) and Meyong (Cameroon). All the rest names on the initial formation are Brazillians (yes we don't have any portuguese on initial formation :54:)

P.S: Sorry for any english error :31:

    Cheers,
    Pedro

Just checked the listings for BBC Scotland and BBC Alba and it does not look like the match next week is on the Tele. Obviously it could change at short notice depending on a deal being struck. But as things stand its not on

One of Bragas best midfielders named Mossoro has a big injury so he will be ruled out this game. Braga is a selling team, but they have a good mix so it's a tough game. I really hope that we have signed a forward before the game.

Only time it was electric on a European night last season was against Arsenal. Atmosphere was abysmal against Moscow.

As a selling team, like Sebelon correctly said, we can not expect the same that we conqueor last season. We can't face the economical power (and differet kinds of dirty games extra-football :47:) of the "big three" Porto, Benfica and Sporting. So we expect, like usual, to finish on top 4 and win one of the portuguese cup's, who we didn't win since 1966 .

But, as Sporting is not so well like they used to be, I hope to finish at least on third. Above that, we can only dream!

if we have a good european night that is.

    there's a 50/50 chance of it tbh.
same with our chance of qualifying actually.
Braga are the team I wanted but they'll be no push overs.

Im really looking forward to it. If we can get a score draw in Portugal then that will set us up nicely. This not impossible. Yes it will be very difficult but I believe we are more than capable. I also see no reason why we cannot do well if we get past this qualifier. There are no easy teams in the Champs league but I fully expect all teams in the draw want to give us a miss.

I have checked the listings and it appears that it is not. But tv deals can normally be struck the week leading up. It has nothing to do with Celtic. Its up to the tv companies getting it from the Home team.:50:

Dedicated follower of CELTIC!, Raised on Celtic, Let the People Sing, Celtic song, Inter Milan...
I try to tell a bit what the portuguese newspapers said about the match between braga and Bilbao. The best Braga players were lima, leandro salino and helder barbosa. The braga attack was good but the defense awful, with a lot of new players, no certainty about the defense nor the goalkeeper. And Celtic is only a week away...
For a team that last season wanted to be compared with Benfica, this season they have to show that they are so good as they looked...
