    Zaluska

    Cha - Hooiveld - Loovens - Mulgrew

    Maloney - Juarez - Brown - Ki - Ledley

    Samaras

I think I'd rather see Hinkel in at left back than Mulgrew b/c of his experience, no idea if Lennon would entertain it.

At second glance, striker isn't such an easy decision. Sammy's the easy choice, but in a 4-5-1 you want someone holding up the ball, and that's about all Fortune does well.

Our team is moving in the right direction this transfer window, but at the same time it's kind of unnerving that about 7 of the above players (to different degrees) are new to our first team (Zaluska, Cha, Hooiveld, Mulgrew, Juarez, Ki, Ledley.)

Think we've GOT to have Maloney in there for counters, regardless of McGeady's availability. Someone said they saw him pished at a chipper since the Bhoys have been here in the US. Even if they were mistakened, Maloney looked hungry against Man U, and no doubt should be sharper. Plus he's more direct a player generally, more likely of finding the net.

It will be a credit to the coaching staff and our new bhoys abilities if we can pull it together so quickly for such a big tie, irrespective of the opponent. KEEP THE FAITH

Considering Braga went unbeaten at home the whole of last season and had the best defence in the league, would anyone take a 1-0 defeat out there? With the hope of putting a few past them up here?

I think were all getting too excited here. Braga are not a crap side and will be hard to break down and score against. never think you are above any team because upsets do happen..ALOT! lol

Upsets? Lets not get ahead of ourselves, we should be the underdogs going into this game and rightly so. This team finished above Porto & Sporting lisbon last season and had the best defence in the league, as well as not losing at home all season.

    Hello to all,

I'm a member of Ultras Red Boys, one of the Braga's supporter group. I just want to say that you're all welcome to our beatifull city and those who came to Braga will not regreat. We are peacefull, friendly people, who like to drink beer with the foreigners who visit our city. Of course, like everywhere we have people who act like a dumbass and don't know how to behave.
I truly apologize for those kiddos who only came here to insult you. Please ignore (and ban) them.

First when I saw that you would play with us I was happy and sad at the same time. sad because I wanted better luck to us and a theoretical easier team, but happy because this is Champions, and what better game for us than play with the team with one of the best fans in the world?
We're not as weak as some of you think, and in our home we are very hard to beat.
In Glasgow we know that will be very hard to beat you, but not impossible. And for the record, visit your stadium it's one item of my "To Do Before Die List" :icon_mrgreen:. I hope it will be against my team!

Do you know how many of you can we expect on Braga next week? If you still don't know where Braga play just google "Estádio AXA" or "Axa Stadium" It's an unique stadium!

Overall, I hope it'll be a good match, well played and with an fantastic atmosphere in both stadiums, and of course that my team wins :50:

    Cheers to all!
    Pedro

    I would go with;

    Zaluska
    Hinkel , Loovens , Hooiveld , Wilson
    Juárez
    Brown (c) - Ledley - McGeady
    Samaras
    Fortuné

    In the first match.

    @Braga fans;

Which formation do you play? And who're your most important players, and which areas are your weaknesses?

It's a not to underestimate S.C. Braga to say that they were the best possible opponent we could get in the non-Champions poll, and we simply have to beat a team as Braga if we wants to go to Europe.

If we can't them, we have only ourself to blame, if we have ambitions to play on the highest stages in Europe.

But saying that, it will not be easy.

I guess it's a possibility that we draw 0-0 in Portugal, what would make it a very fair game in Glasgow.

Can someone explain to me how we were in a draw with top quality sides like Braga and Ajax while other much, much weaker teams are still involved. Whats up with that?

Platini's work. He wanted smaller teams in CL, so for example, that the champions from Hungary easier can get into the group stages while we have to play against hard opposition from better leagues duo to lack of champions.

They were seeded because of the fact they have collected more european coefficident-points than we have.

We just haven't been good enough in Europe the last couple of seasons.

The facts that S.C. Braga is seeded and we isn't, just proves that it would be stupid to underestimate them.

Thanks. What happens if we lose, do we automatically drop down to the Euro Cup?

If im not mistaken they finished 2nd last year which would have placed them above 2 of the following: Porto, Benfica, Sporting. That in itself tells us all we need to know about this team.
