I also think we would have won the league last season regardless of the deduction but we were handed the title the moment they got deducted points. The title was over at that minute so it was handed to us. We can only guess what might have happened if they didnt get that deduction but it was over the moment they got the deduction.

 

Naive?? Surely everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you agree with it or not?? Idiotic in your opinion maybe but its a forum so you cant expect to agree with everything.

A lot going on about the points deduction last year as if we
engineered it to help us win the league.
It was because they have been CHEATING for many years
& it started coming home to roost,so it wasn't HANDED to us
they got caught & the right result ensued

 

People can laugh that performance off all they want, but it wasn't * good enough, people pay silly money for tickets and probably got up at daft hours to travel to Perth for an early kick-off.

It was as bad a performance as I can remember under Lenny and he needs to sort this * SPL apathy out right now, it's not good enough.

 

That's exactly how I'm feeling as well at the moment.

Not anywhere near good enough and not fair on the loyal fans.

 

I can appreciate people pay good money and don't want to feel ripped off, but all fans need to ask themselves what do they really want?

If we win every game 6-0, the fans will be happy yes, but then a large number will just get fed up and stop turning up to matches. If we win the league by xmas the stadium will be empty except for CL matches.

On the other hand, we lose or draw, therefore creating an open and exciting league and people are STILL unhappy!

Thank * I never became a footballer or manager, because I would go * mad at the fans! They (we) really are the most annoying bunch of * on the planet!

 

I agree that the title was over the minute they got deducted points, but the way you phrased it in your very first post (the one that caused outrage) made it seem like you were discrediting all of the hard work that had gone into overturning the 15 point deficit in the first place.

Your points are good ones, but try being more careful when wording them

i dont need to be careful though, im just giving my opinion. Its not a knee * reaction as iv said all along my thoughts on this team and how overrated i think they are by most people on here. Wont stop me going and supporting my team but people make so many excuses for this team its unreal. Its also seems that Lennon is untouchable on here regardless of results.

 

I respect your opinion, but my point was that it can be easily misconstrued and that's when people get on your back about things.

As far as Lennon being untouchable on here goes, I find its the complete opposite. I think he receives more than his fair share of criticism. In fact, I find that people go way overboard with their criticism of him, as opposed to not dishing enough out. Again today, more calls made on here by certain narrow minded individuals for Lennon to be sacked. Being deadly serious too. Astounding, it really is.

What's been going on for over two years now?

Building up a good, young squad? Lennon getting more and more experience with each match? Winning the league at a canter on his second try (and only JUST missing out by one point in his first)? Winning the Scottish Cup in his first full season? Getting to the Champions League after a 4 year absence?

Those sort of things?

"League without competition is pointless". One team (Hun FC) doesn't make it competitive and so far it's been pretty competitive because, even though it's only 5 games into the season, it's still wide open and we're sitting 5th (for the moment). But you're right - there's no competition around now because Hun FC are dead. Bring that ONE team back to make the league more competitive then all will be fine with the world again

YES IT WAS mate, there are fans on here that do think that other managers have being sitting on there hands, while we play in Europe
and haven't got in guys that can play a bit, they are about to find out
differently, over the course of the next few weeks, and ALEX MC LEISH
might not be a bad shout, half way through the season if not before
who else could we get if the chips are down to help our case, any port in a storm for me, but mcleish has the bottle to make us great. and if fans get a voice then with bad results, they pay the piper and can call the tune.

Where did i say that was the reason?? We played guff today because we dont have that great a team in my opinion and results like today are always possible.


The league is so exciting, most people i spoke to today didnt even care that we got beat because they know the league is in the bag. If your happy with the spl then good on you, hope you enjoy the procession. Yes we are 5th and its so wide open with all these teams pushing to win the league. You must have a high opinion of our team if you reckon we will have competition from these spl teams for the title.

 

Not happy if we win, not happy if we lose.

I find the opposite as far as Lennon is concerned. If you say one bad word about Lennon on here you get jumped on by so many. The praise he gets is way overboard in my opinion. Anyway each to their own

 

You can say what you want, I just am bemused by the fact that Celtic fans, more so than any other set of fans I know, are simply never happy!

Parkhead has such a large proportion of moany gits who go apeshit if one pass goes astray, infact they shouldn't be called supporters cos they do * all supporting the team, just moan moan moan about every little thing. I appreciate it's ironic i'm now moaning about them, but i'm not a moany * so i'm allowed to moan :icon_mrgreen:

If we won every game and walked the league people would say "this is boring, we need competition" but now that we're playing *, not caring about the league and dropping points it's all "this is *! Waste of money! Sack the manager! We should be beating these teams 5-0!!!"
