Wilson said it was a stonewaller? Looked like a blatant * dive from where I was sitting.

 

Think Kelvin's being very harsh on himself there.

Murphy done him with the most ludicrous dive I've ever seen.

 

Sorry for the slow reply - I was binge-eating.

Positives: Forster yet again stepping up; some fantastic energy from Commons and Samaras; Hooper doing what was needed; Mulgrew as solid as ever.

Negatives: dreadful refereeing; Ambrose getting a knock, playing on and fluffing up half a dozen times; Wanyama hoofing the ball without a care in the world.

Still, it's the result that counts and that result was well-deserved. To be honest I thought it was quite a good - if dramatic - match.

Honourable mention to Randolph, incidentally. I thought he had an excellent game.

I would not be surprised if the rule on placing of the ball at penalties is revised.i.e.the ball must be on the SPOT,simple. Nun of this rubbish " part of the baw is over part of the spot" seriously.....

Strange that Wilson is saying that it was a penalty kick. Was such an obvious dive.

I'm just wondering but would he still be in that frame of thinking if the penalty was scored.
